Jack shook his head and laughed, but walked away. Tessa shivered, "thank you" she whispered. "you can go now, I'm sorry I woke you" she started to walk away from him
Ash hesitated, but finally grabbed her arm, keeping her in place. "What if he just comes back as soon as I'm gone, huh?" he hisses softly. "Then I'm just going to have to get up and help you all over again."
Tessa felt her skin heat up, the lights pulsing. She pulled away so they would stop glowing. "Alright... You can walk me back to my room" she looked at him.
Ash nodded, though the way her tattoos began glowing like that freaked him out a little. He still kept a fair distance from her while he walked, not one for much physical contact. "Who was that guy? Stalker or something?"
((oh, ivwanted to ask:) how far do you want to go with the romance? :D)) Tessa shifted, uncomfortable with the question, she never told anyone about Jack, except for her best friend Mara, the head professor, whom she confided in with pretty much anything, she hadn't even told. "Stalker."
[I usually only go as far as my partner wants to go :) But I can do whatever, I don't mind ]
"Creepy." Ash shivered; the hallway seemed a little chilly tonight. Maybe it was just because he didn't have a shirt on... Whatever the reason, a small flame flickered to life in his hand to warm him a bit.
((ok, just wondering, chz I have mature romances, sobi just wanted 2 know your comfortzone:)(; )) Tessa just nodded, she glanced over avd smiled, "fire wizard?" she looked away. "that's cool" she murmured. "Are you knew? I havent seen you here before" she looked at him curiously. ((oh, and Ash can have another power, something that stands out:) because that's the reason why guardian race was created, because people with special or extra powers usually got a guardian:) you don't have to decide yet though:) ))
"Wizard?" Ash scoffed, rolling his eyes, and the flame went out instantly. "Last I checked, this wasn't Harry Potter. But yes. Fire, and... something else I'd rather not mention. And what do you do? Anything special?"
[Ah, okay :D I already have the perfect one for him in mind ]
((sweetness! :D)) Tessa shrugged, collapsing g Her hands together, "well you can see, I am my own personal night light" she smiles slightly. "I have... Perks" she sighed, pushing her bangs out of her eyes. "it's... Just weird" she shook her head and let her hair fall back into her face. "if you want to know more about my kind" she looked directly at him as she stopped at her door and turned to face him. "just look up the word guardian" she looked at him and then opened her door. "Night" she slipped inside.
"Guardian?" What on earth was that? Ash sighed, but made no move to leave just yet. Not that he wanted to just stand there, in front of this girl's door. Of course not. Although honestly, it sounded better than anything he had planned for tonight. "I might do that, then. Anyway..." He chewed on his lip hesitantly, before forcing himself to start back toward his own room. "If that guy comes back, call for me, I guess. Or whatever."
"Ok" she called out softly. She plopped back down on her bed. She burried her face into the pillow and she dozed off...
What a weird girl. And an even weirder guy... Ash finally found his room and locked the door. It was still dark in here - just how he liked it. But he knew he'd never be able to fall asleep. Not for a very long time...
Tessa was exghausted after that encounter with Jack... And that boy who had saved her... Her tattoos... Were they suppose to do that? That had never happened to her before... Strange. She really wished their was other guardians. She was considered to be the last one in the world.
This was so boring, just sitting here. Ash wanted to do something. Anything! Maybe a fire would stir up some excitement... And just like that, his desk was in flames. But somehow, even that wasn't very stimulating.
Tessa slept until the sunlight filtered into her room. She lifted her head, her hair messed up, "time for school."
The desk was a pile of black dust by this time, and Ash still hadn't slept. He quickly dressed, trying to distract himself so he wouldn't end up burning anything else.
Tessa got up, she slipped on a pretty yellow sun dress and slipped on some sandals. She put on some make-up and eyeliner. She started to walk down to the dinning hall for breakfast.
Ash headed down to the dining hall for breakfast. Hopefully they were serving something good... He sighed, thankful that no one else seemed to be in the hallway as he walked. People were interesting, sure, but... They could also be quite scary.
Tessa always got to breakfast early while it was hot, she got a tray and filled it up with everything that didn't have eyes, she was a strick vegetarian. Anything that use to have eyes and was on a plate made her sick. She walked over to the instructors table, the student tables all Lined up on the other side. She sat down and began eating.
Where Ash was now sitting in his seat in the corner, he could see that weird girl from last night. His brow furrowed slgihtly in confusion. She was an instructor? He shook his head with a sigh before biting into his apple. Weird...
