I am in need of another rp. I want to do something with fantasy. (Just not to far out there. It must make sense.) just a warning I am only going to be here until Friday and then the school is taking back the laptop so I will be computerless. so nothing to long just something to take up some of my spare time. anybody interested?
Mind if I do this with you?
Not so long as you understand that after this week I will be gone. What kind of fantasy would you like to do?
Up to you. Too bad you have to go in a week. :( Anyway I'm up for whatever you'd like. Nothing crazy like you said.
Okay well I'm really wierd and I love the ideas of knights and such. so would you like to do something like the Kingdoms thread but just 2 knights that go off on adventures and stuff? If not that is okay too. I am just not very good at ideas.
Haha that's actually what I was thinking. I love that stuff. So new characters? Or do you wanna do a side adventure of Annabeth and Sam?
hmh Same person but I'm changing Annabeths name to Alanna because it's prettier. But yea that sounds great we could make it like a backstory thing. like how they came to know eachother and their lives before the escort. sound good?
Cool! And yeah, I'm fine with a name change. I'm super excited about this!! :D How about a story about a year back when they met each other and started training to become knights?
Also, I'm going to do my absolute best to post as much as I can this week.
Okie dokie. sounds perfect you wanna start or should I?
((I'll start I guess. :) ))
Sam collapsed against the wall of the clay building, exhausted from a day's work. "And still not enough money to buy even a small apartment room." he murmured. He felt the engraved sword hilt at his side and the small satchel of money beside it. He heard a voice. "Stay away from that boy, he's just a beggar." He peered up tiredly and saw a girl standing in front of him. The voice was a woman at the fish stand. "What do you want?" he grumbled. "And I'm far from a beggar," he yelled at the fish lady.
It was still dark when Alanna had headed out for the city early that morning and her bottom was sore from riding her beloved pony. But she didn't dare stop for fear that her father would catch her. Finaly she reached the city stopping just outside it's limits to exchange her skirts for briches, pull on a tunic and add a cap to her head. sighing she stroked her pony and lead her into the city ready to find an adventure.
Sam stood and strode away down the street, the dusty wind blowing his dustier brown hair to the side. He came around the corner and quickly turned around. "Where ya goin' Sam?" a snide voice called, followed by a hand grabbing his shoulder. Sam turned slowly, and caught a fist by reflex. Just another group to give me trouble, he thought. There were three of them, and all of them thought they were better than Sam. He flipped the guy, Blake, and then caught another clumsy punch. He was tired of street brawls and wanted to end this soon. Bringing up his knee, he drove it into the accomplice's stomach and roundhouse kicked the last guy. Their "boss" came from behind and socked Samuel in the face, making his anger rise. Sam plowed a fist into Blake's nose and sent him to the ground. Intercepting a knife attack, he flipped it back and stabbed his attacker's hand. Rolling through the dust, he regained his balance and dashed down the street. He turned a corner, almost running into a girl with a pony. "Sorry," he mumbled and stood there. "Mind if I borrow that cap?" He plucked it off of her head and put it on. He sat down against a building, eyes to the ground so the cap covered his face.
Alanna's first reaction was to laugh at the boy who had stolen her hat. "Sure I guess." she said airly The idea of adventure still running through her. After a breif moment though she relized that this boy was probably in some kind of trouble. "Hey are you okay?" She asked. Looking around for whatever he was running from.
Sam didn't say a word. The three clowns ran by, coming up to Alanna. "Hey!" one of them demanded. "You seen a punk run through here?" Alanna shook her head, a little confused, and they ran off. Sam looked up. Good, done with that. Standing up, he walked over to her. "Thank you." he said with a smile, placing it back on her head. "Just a bit of trouble."
Alanna straightened her cap and frowned. "Okay so why did I just cover for you? Are you a crook? Am I going to get in to trouble for lying to those guys?" She backed up a few steps from the stranger suddenly scared of what she had just gotten into.
Sam gave her a dark look, then burst out laughing. "Nah," he replied happily, "I'm just a poor street kid." He held out his hand with a grin. "I'm Sam. Thanks for the help!"
Alanna looked quizically at Sam. "I'm Alanna. Most people call me Al though." She took his hand and shook it cautiously prepared to defend herself at anytime. "Well I really should be going, lots to do."
"Like what?" Sam asked as he walked along her nonchalantly. "I guess I'll hang around until I get where I need to go." he said. "By the way, nice horse."
"Well if you really must know I am going to be a knight." She couldn't help shaking her head and laughing at the strange boy. "Just as soon as I can figure out how to go about that, that is. Where is it that you are going?" She asked glad for her extra height. She hated looking up at people.
