"Playing just outside of the gates where we came into town. Please hurry! These two are speacial to me." She said around her sobs.
Rai didn't have time to question why they were special to Ally, he ran out and made his way to the gates. When he got there, sure enough, he saw two boys. Rai ran to them and yelled at them to run to him.
Ally lay there on the floor, unable to move. Her body was week. She laid there and wept, hoping Rai made it in time to save the boys. The two that had saved her life when the war first started.
They didn't respond, he ran faster. He saw some sketchy men walk up to the boys. Rai was still fifty feet away. The men were already near the boys; Rai had no choice but to throw something. He picked up a brick and ran closer before launching it at the men.
As she lay there, she suddenly got a sharp pain in her head. Suddenly, around the pain she could see Rai running after the men and the two boys. The pain intensified making her scream in pain.
Rai launched it at the men and hit one. The other guy flinched and flicked out a gun. Rai went to his back for his crossbow but forgot that he left it in a hurry to save the two boys. He silently cursed as he started running across cover. He heard gunshots and bullets hitting the buildings. Rai was closer of the man with the gun now, the other man was getting up from the ground and Rai jumped onto the gunslinger. He disarmed the man and threw the gun away. Next, he swiftly took care of the two men. When Rai was done, he turned to look at the two boys but didn't find them anywhere. He scratched his head as he looked around for a bit. Rai didn't find anyone so he hesitantly headed back.
As Ally snapped back into her real state of mind, the pain was so unbareable that she screamed again. She could hear Rai at the door now. She still could not move so she lay there in the floor, weeping and gasping for air.
Rai walked back and he entered the apartment. He walked to Ally's room and discovered that she was on the floor crying and hyperventalating. He rushed to her as she was laying down. "What's wrong Ally?"
"My head... It hurts so bad..." She said around sobs and deep, quick breaths. "I saw you... charge them..." Ally said looking up to reveal her bloodshot eyes.
Rai tried to calm Ally down, he sat down on the floor. "Everything is fine Ally, the boys are safe," he lied, the truth was that he didn't know what happened to the boys.
"Are you sure they are safe?" Ally said managing to sit up and lean onto Ria's shoulder.
Rai answered, "no."
"Wait.. What" Ally answered, leaning away from Rai and nearly falling again. "How do you not know if they are safe??"
Rai shifted just to make sure Ally wouldn't fall, she didn't, which was good. "They weren't after I took out the men."
"You better hope they are okay. Those boys are speacial. They have many gifts." Ally said calming done a little and leaning into Rai again. "Do you have any BC Powder? I'm getting a major migraine."
Rai nodded, "yeah." He gave some to her and sat down, "what kind of powers?"
"The get the preminitions too, but to a much greater extent, and it doesn't hurt them. They can see anything they want if they think about it. Its how we have managed to stay ahead in the war for so long. THey saw your tatics and strategies." Ally said taking the meds and laying down.
"My trick and strategies?" Rai asked, "what do you mean?"
"Err.. Not YOUR's but... the federal army... I just assumed you were a part of it... sorry" she said quietly.
"Oh," Rai muttered, "them..."
