Lis beamed with excitement, "Oh thank you, thank you so much Bo!!! And not a stag hunt?! This sounds exciting!" She grinned and almost jumped out of her seat with excitement. "I'll go get my horse Nyuguen saddled up!" Lis turned to look at her father who was in a conversation with the queen at the far end of the table, "Father!! May I be excused?"
The king gave his daughter an annoyed look but replied calmly, "Alright but only if you help clean up later in the kitchens."
"Very well." Lis was used to chores even if she was supposed to be royalty. She sprung up and dashed to the stables beckoning for Bo and Kyle to join her.
Kyle smiled at Lis. "I think you forgot one detail. We are going hunting tomorow." Turning so the conversation was directed at Bo too Kyle said, "But I think we can go today can't we?"
Lis faintly heard Kyle speak before she was out the door and running down the cool hallway. "Well, I'm going for a ride! It's okay if we hunt tomorrow, but if we are hunting today I'll meet you by the stables!" She shouted back at them before the dining hall was completely out of sight.
Annabeth loked up from her training. When she saw the Princess and a royal attendant riding near the practice area she stopped to watch. How could the princess handel herself with such grace? the thought troubled her. She could never be a elagent as the heir to the kingdom. Walking over to the water container she had brought with her she slowly sipped on the cool liquid inside. Propping herself on at fence post she continued to watch the princess the jelousy displayed plainly across her face.
Kyle's head snapped towards the door. He didn't enjoy hunting so much, but he loved a good ride. Kyle excused himself from Bo and headed for the door. He almost made it too before the king called him. "And where do you think you are going?" Kyle turned and answered, "For a ride. Please excuse my horid manners. May I please go out for a ride?" Kyle turned and left without an answer. He got to the stables and leaned against his mare, Shaddow.
Lis fastened a saddle over Nyuguen then attached the reins. The horse keeper, Sabine gave her a boost to get on her horse. Lis swung her leg over and clung to Nyuguen's pearly white mane to steady herself. She trotted the horse over to Kyle's stall and leaned down, "I know an excellent place to go riding," she whispered mystically. "The forest." Lis nodded her head to the vast and known to be dangerous forest just beyond the valley. It seperated the kingdoms of Zatire and Airifet. Smoke rose from the brewing volcanic mountains in the distance. This ought to be an adventure, she thought smiling.
"I'm just taking a scenic ride," Aryn said, smiling at Alex as he rode up. "Airifet looks very nice this time of year," she fiddled with a strand of hair. "So what have you been doing? I scarcely saw you all morning!"
((This seems awesome! Could I join please??))
((yes please do!! you can jump in anywhere!))
"I'm sorry princess," Alex replied, "I was going through several border reports, but it's nothing I need to worry you about. How are you doing this morning princess? I see that the Villagers are hard at work preparing for the Summer Solstice Festival coming up."
Bo smiled as he watched his siblings leave the table for their ride, not missing the glare aimed in his direction by their father. He quickly finished his dinner, not caring to be left alone with the king and drained his wine glass. Now would be a good time to look for Alfie without interruptions. Bo stood up and walked away from the table.

Kyle looked over at Lis. "Corse I know about riding in the woods. What do you think I do all afternoon? Unless you meant a specific place... ?" Kyle looked at Lis and smiled. Kyle swung the saddle over Shaddow's back and put the bridle on. Swinging himself over from the ground, Kyle was eye level with Lis. "Common, lets go!"
Lis smiled maliciously and said, "A hidden place, indeed. Deep into the forest lies an underground tunnel leading to the kingdom of Airifet! Haven't you ever wanted to go there? I heard among the servants in the palace that there are dragons in Airifet!" She led Nyuguen out of the stable then kicked into her side making her gallop faster.
Kyle gaped at Lis. "Are you crazy?!" He almost yelled at her. "You know it is forbidden to go to each other's kingdoms!" He calmed himself down and said, "I'm sorry Lis, I cant go, you shouldn't either. Do you think they would treat you nicely there? No they would keep you as hostage and when father won't pay, they'll kill you!"
((This is Kyle's interpretation, it may or may not be right, up to you alice!))
((yeah thats good, any normal person wouldn't dare venture there but Lis is very adventurous so do whatever you like))
Lis sighed pulling the reins so Nyuguen stopped, "You are probably right but I just want to get a look at the kingdom. I won't actually enter their territory. I am just going to climb the Everbloom tree, its the tallest in the forest and maybe I could see some of Airifet. It's okay if you don't want to come, its up to you." With that, she began to gallop away toward the unguarded entrance to the forest.
Kyle sat on his horse, his jaw unhinged watching her gallop away. He struggled between going with her to protect her and going back to the castle. Sighing Kyle turned Shaddow to the forest and galloped after her. Kyle couldn't leave Lis all alone! She would be killed.
Sam contined to chop wood at the edge of the woods, and stopped to wipe some dampness from his forehead. He looked out into the forest and wondered about the other kingdom. "Nevermind," he murmured. He picked up the logs, set them in the cart and pulled it toward town. He would have to use this to help construct yet another house. He sighed and walked toward the city.
Lis entered the forest swiftly, Nyuguen dashed between trees, jumping onto the barely visible path. After a few minutes of riding, Lis pulled her horse to a stop and jumped out of the saddle. A towering tree lingered in front of her, its branches perfect for climbing. Lis put her boot on the lowest branch and began pushing herself up onto the next one, climbing slowly up the tree.
"Indeed they are." Aryn replied. She looked on in silence for a while. A gust of wind blew and Aryn shivered. " I think I will head back now, will you come?"
