Charollete propped herself up on her arms. "What about you? Have you slept? Did I wake you up?" Judging from the bags around his eyes, Charollete would bet that Tom hadn't gotten any sleep at all, even though he deserved to rest much more than she did.
"I may have dozzed off for a moment but I don't normaly sleep much." He smiled feabily. "Crazy insomnia. So then I guess you're up for good? If so then we should see about where we are going to be hiding her because my dad won't be passed out for very much longer."
"I can head back to the woods with Fantasia," Charolette said, attempting to scoop up the dragon without waking her. "You can stay here and....well, I don't know, if you need to talk to your dad or something. But I think I can handle Fantasia on my own for the day, if there's anything you need to...."
"Lets see here. Stay here with my dad and be forced into doing chores or go with you....and fantasia of course to the woods." Tom pretended to ponder it for a moment. "Tricky decision but give me ten minutes to write a note and we can leave? If thats okay with you of course..."
"Oh, yeah! If it's not too much trouble for you. Not like I had anything better to do today," Charolette said with a forced laugh. After that night, she hoped a day with a mythical creature would lighten the mood. "Whenever you're ready."
Tom couldn't help but grin. "Okay let me just leave him a note so i don't get put 6 feet under when i get back." With that he picked up their pillows and blankets and sprinted towards the house. after dropping the stuff in his room he got a paper and a pen and scrawled a quick note to his dad which he taped to the fridge before running out to meet Charolette. "Ready to go?" He asked still grinning.
"Yup!" Charolette quipped, adjusting the dragon to a more secure position, grabbing her share of the pillows and blankets, and starting to sprint to the forest. "Crud, it's light out! Could you run ahead to make sure I don't meet up with anyone? I REALLY don't feel like explaining our little 'pet'."
"Okay I'll sprint ahead and find a empty area. You should be fine though it is early Saturday morning. most everybody is probably still asleep." With one last smile he headed into the woods at top speed bobbing and weaving so as not to hit anything.
Charolette watched Tom dissapear into the forest. Almost as soon as he completely dissapeared, the dragon woke up. Charolette started to scratch its head and say "good morning" , but it immediately started to yowl and screech, clawing at Charolette's arms to get away. Charolette dropped it in surprise and pain, but pinned it to the ground before it could get away. It continued to resist, still making noise. 'Tom! Something's wrong with the dragon!"
Tom vaguely heard his name and stopped. Not entirely sure that he had heard it. backtracking slightly listening carefully for it again. "Charolette are you okay?!" He yelled as loud as he could. He started running back in the direction he came.
Though the dragon was getting weaker already from its constant resistance, its claws and teeth were taking its toll on Charolette's arms. "Tom! I need you! Fantasia's trying to get away!" The dragon seemed much different now, not the cute, peaceful creature it had been yesterday.
Tom sprinted out of the trees.. "Let go of her Charolette!" He yelled. "Don't restrict her. She is panicing!"
"Oh, ok!" Charolette let go of the dragon, which immediately took to the air. Fantasia quickly dissapeared into the forest, leaving Charolette kneeling on the ground, holding out her bleeding arms and gazing into the woods after her. She saw Tom come out of the forest and weakly smiled at him. "She'll come back...right?"
((lol, I don't know why I made the dragon freak out...sorry if you don't like that, you can make the dragon do whatever :3))
((Lol it's all good. but by what you said I could make it tapdance?))
"I...I.. don't know. Let me see your arms." He said panting. He went to sit beside her holding out one hand for her arm. "She didn't hurt you on purpose you know. She is an animal and she paniced for some reason."
((lol sure why not? ^.^))
"I know. Honestly, it's a lot worse than it looks." Charolette was partially just trying to make him feel better, but her arms really didn't hurt TOO much. Not any worse than what her cat did if she accidentally sat on her. But the blood and long scrapes did look ugly, even if they were very shallow. "Tom...if someone hurts her....I wouldn't be able to forgive myself..."
Tom frowned looking at the cuts on her arms. Looking up he gave her a sad forced smile. "Hey it'll be okay. That little girl can most definatly take care of herself." He genly and kind of awkwardly wrapped and arm around her shoulders. "Come on lets get you somewhere with a first aid kit."
((Did you want to continue this cause I now have a computer again?))
((Is that a no?))
((BUMP SINCE YOU NO PAY ATTENTION))
