Desi pulled out her phone and flipped it open. " Kyle is never going to believe this." After dialing his number she put the phone up to her ear just to hear the tone saying that his phone was turned off. Instead of leaving a message she sighed and closed her phone. "Ah well he call back when he gets the chance. Anyway have you thought about what you are gunna wear for the show tomorrow?" Dei caled this rather loudly so that Dyl could actually hear her.
"Okay good because I havent either." Desi fallowed Dyl to the terrace but did not go out on to it. heights and her dont mix.
Danielle turned to Kalina and smiled. "I'm headed to 7D as well... I guess that make us roomies." she laughed.
"I guess so," Kalina replied. She stepped out of the elevator on the seventh floor. "I already saw the suite. It's awesome."
Desi was suprised when Dyl started dancing. "I... didn't know you danced." how ironic they both were dancers. Watching the girl dance Desi got nervous if all of the competition was like her then they were going to have a very difficult time winning. "You're really good ya know."
Kalina walked down the wide hall to 7D, and stuck her key in the lock. She flung the door open and held it for Danielle to get through with her luggage.
Lacey was bored. Everyone seemed to have gone to their room, and the lobby was empty except for a security guard with a scowl. "C'mon, Matt," she said. "Let's go back up to our room.
"Fine," Matt said in defeat. They headed to the plush elevator and pressed 9.
Lacey tried to make conversation while they rode the elevator.
"Once I was in this hotel in, like, New York City or something. It was for a modeling gig, so you weren't there. Anyways, the elevator? It took you, like, straight up to your room. You didn't even have to--"
"Shut up, Lacey," said Matt as he stepped out of the elevator.
"What's your problem?" Lacey asked, staying where she was.
Matt raised his eyebrows at her. The elevator doors shut, and Lacey stomped her foot in frustration. Now she'd have to hit the button again!
Matt grinned to himself as he strolled down the hall to the suite. He pulled out his phone and texted his sister.
Then Matt remembered that there wasn't usually cell service on elevators, so Lacey wouldn't get the text until she got out. Darn!
Haley stuck her phone in her purse. "Angie!" she yelled. Her personal assistant came in. "Pack me enough Evian for a couple of days at Giorgio's," she instructed. The Giorgio's Resort Hotel was like a second home to her. It was a couple of miles away for her home in Beverly Hills, right in the heart of L.A.
"And make sure I have sufficient outfits, too. Two a day is skimping, but I don't want to have too much extra luggage," Haley continued. Angie nodded and continued to pack.
Danielle quickly grabbed her luggage and got out of the elevator. "thanks." she told kalina. She stayed next to her so she wouldn't get lost.
Kalina held the door until Danielle passed through. She glanced at the suite briefly, but decided to head out again. Next to the elevator, was a map of the hotel. "Wow, a rooftop garden," Kalina marveled. There were stairs on the ninth floor leading to the roof. Kalina decided to check it out. Stepping in the elevator, Kalina hit 9. At the ninth floor she stepped out, looking for the steps that were nowhere in sight. She looked for a map, but there was none. "Great. I'm just gonna have to wander around until I find these steps, she said.
Matt decided to step outside and look for Lacey. She should be back by now, he reasoned.
He stepped out of his hotel room and ran right into a blond girl with blue eyes.
Oh no, I've alienated someone else he thought.
"Umm...sorry," he said.
Kalina suddenly walked into someone. "Oh, sorry!" She exclaimed, taking a step back to realize she had bumped into the most gorgeous guy she had ever seen. He's probably a movie star, she thought dreamily, before mentally chiding herself to snap out of it. Kalina didn't have crushes. That just wasn't what she did. But this guy was definitely cute...
Lacey pressed the 9 button again, but since she was already on that floor, the elevator didn't do anything. Cursing inwardly, Lacey pressed a mysterious-looking button that said RG. She figured she could go to RG, then ride the elevator back down to 9.
The elevator reached RG, and the doors opened. Lacey's breath caught. She was on a rooftop garden. Plants and vines twisted everywhere, and beautiful pinkish purple flowers-orchids?- were growing out of hanging pots. Involuntarily, Lacey took a step forward. She stepped over to one of the hanging pots and fingered an orchid.
It's so beautiful, she thought. I've never seen anything like this before.
"You like?" said a voice.
Matt took a step back. This girl was staring him down. "Sorry..." He'd already said that. What did people say in these situations?
"Hi," said Matt.
Lacey whirled around, stifling a scream. "Don't sca--" She paused.
The owner of the voice smiled. "Hey there," he said. "I'm Chase."
"Uh...hi!" Kalina changed her wide-eyed stare to a smile. "Um...so..do you know where the stairs to the rooftop garden?" Kalina! She scolded herself. This is why you don't have a boyfriend! You always say the wrong thing! " "I mean, like, I was exploring and I wanted to see it. You wouldn't happen to know where the steps are?" You're rambling, Kalina. Get to the point.
Danielle looked at this guy and blushed "hi..." she said.
