With a soft, slow sigh, Vincent nodded. He likeed the feel of her lips on his skin, and the tingling he got from her kissing. It was nice, pleasant, and even relaxing. He did feel himself slowly drifting off into a sleepy dreamland. "Goodnight Aria..." He mumbled softly.
"Sweet dreams." Aria whispered. She gave his flesh a few more kisses before just resting her head on his chest. She was so tired from all the love they shared. Within a few minutes the hunter was asleep in her geeky lover's arms.
Vincent passed out as well, totally exhausted. He dreamed of Aria...of being able to see her face and gaze upon her beautiful body. But things turned dark, his sight slipping away. Aria was taken from him, screaming from him, as he slipped further and further away, unable to find her. He jerked awake early in the morning with a yelp, covered in sweat.
Aria didn't dream through the night. She rarely dreams ever really. It was a nice, peaceful slumber that she experienced even though she never slept heavy. Aria had to be a light sleeper in case things broke in at night. It was how she'd been trained. "Vincent? What's wrong?" her eyes snapped open though she was groggy. She was still alert though as she stared at him for an answer, not knowing what was going on.
"Aria..." Vincent was panting and obviously in distress from the nightmare. His hand fumbled around until it found hers. "You're....you're here..." He sighed, trying to take deep breaths to calm himself. He really had thought he lost her. But it was just a dream. Everything was fine.
"Yes I'm here." Aria was all the way coherent within the minute that she woke up. She let him take her hand and used her other one to run the fingers through Vincent's hair. "It's okay. I'm right here." she spoke very soothingly, kissing Vincent's lips softly.
Vincent sighed, closing his eyes. "It was just a dream..." He murmured. "I'm sorry I just...I really thought I'd lost you..." He sighed, his hand traveling up to feel her face. "I did....dream I could see..." He went silent, thinking she probably didn't want to hear about his dream-turned-nightmare.
Aria had a smile that matched her voice, sad. "Well at least you can maybe see me in your dreams." she tried to lighten the mood a little more, nuzzling her face into Vincent's hands before kissing each of his palms. "I'm here. It was just a bad dream. I won't leave you Vincent. I promise." Aria really meant the words he said.
((I am so DONE.))
(I know but no one wants to move!)
