This is a zombie apocalypse roleplay. (Yes, I know it's a typical genre, but it's fun to look at) The skellie is at the bottom, and I'll start the story setting.
Weapon: (you'll start with something easily found in a school and expand from there.)
Name: Mitch Stevens
Appearance: About 6'0", has longish brown hair, and tired blue-green eyes. He is lanky and wiry, and usually wears dark jeans and a T-Shirt.
Bio: Mitch has attended Striton High School for his whole life, and is now a freshman, until a strange spring day that changed his life forever.
Weapon: Mitch starts out with a metal baseball bat that he got from his gym locker.
Personality: Mitch is usually tired and lost in thought, but can concentrate on important tasks. He's quick and strong for his size, and has a fairly close circle of friends. He's normally calm and collected in a stressing situation and manages to keep his composure. If he's one of your close friends, he'd die for you.
Name: Ian Kass
Appearance: Ian is 6ft 6in. He has military-style close-cut black hair. He has gray eyes. He is broad in the shoulders, but has a muscled torso.
Bio: Ian was a Junior at Striton High School. He wanted to join the Marines, therefore he worked vigorously to maintain supreme fitness.
Weapon: An aluminum baseball bat.
Mitch slumped lazily in his desk, listening to the afternoon English lecture and looking out the window at the golden sun. He tapped his pencil against his head and chewed his lip, ignoring the lecture. He looked across the room at Ian, scribbling on a piece of paper. Mitch sighed. Another boring day at Striton. He looked up then heard the familiar blare of the intercom. "Attention students and staff: there is an intruder on the premisis and we are told to go into lockdown. Shut your doors, lock them, and get low to the ground. That is all" Mitch heard the 'click' of the end of the message and almost grinned. Finally, he thought. Some excitement. He strolled across the room towards Ian. "Hey what's up?" he asked.
Ian looked up at Mitchell's voice to see Mitch walking towards him. "Oh somebody intruded on the school premises. Probably someone playing hooky, or it's just a drill."
There was the soft, almost worried chatter of students, then suddenly (after about 15 minutes) the intercom screeched again. "Attenition!" it sounded very scared and stressed. "All students and staff are required to stay in your ro- ah... ah... Stay away! Stay away! NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! AHHH!!!" The intercom went silent. Mitch thought he heard a soft moan. Then chaos broke out. "Come on," he said to Ian. "We got to go. Now."
Name: Lucy Greene, friends call her Lu
Appearance: Lucy isn't all that tall. She is a little thin and gangly, but a lot stronger and tougher then she looks. Lu's eyes are widely spaced and pale blue. Her hair is a little bushy and very thick, light strawberry blonde in color with a smattering of boldly dyed tips in purple, green, pink, orange, and blue.
Bio: Lu is outdoorsy, she loves camping, archery, rock climbing, and running. She just moved here about four months ago from a rural town.
Weapon: Her pocketknife and a world atlas.
Personality: Lu is carefree and likes to see the bright side of everything, that's not to say that sometimes her temper gets the best of her. Lu is friendly and down to earth, and feels her best when she is moving around.
Lu tapped her pencil on her desk, deep in though. Perhaps it was terrorists, or maybe just another psycho with a gun and a manifesto. Lu would be dam.ned if she was going down that easy! She noticed that her only classmates whp were appearing to keep a level head were Ian and Mitch. Power in numbers. Lu hopped to her feet and sidled over to them. "You're on my team." She said, picking up a world atlas from the bookshelf. "And we're getting out of here alive."
((Thanks for joining Sorla! Your character is cool!))
Name: Ardar Passáro
Appearance: Has long red hair that she ties into a ponytail. Has serious, mean Violet eyes and normally wears a hat of some kind normally a baseball cap.
Bio: Was attending Striton High School as a Freshman. All she wanted was to go to a college.
Weapon: A Meter stick she keeps tied behind her back, and a red hockey stick.
"Ok," Mitch said with a slight frown. "I have a bat in my locker, so I'll have to get that." Mitch looked at both of them and nodded. "We'll pick up friends on the way if we can. Lu, hold onto that atlas." The group of them dash through the small crowd, and down the empty hall to the gym. Mitch push aside some clothes and stuff and grab the solid metal bat. "I'm good to go."
Ardar sat in her classroom when she heard the announcement. She read enough books to know what that was. She got up quickly and yelled across her freshman classroom "Ok everyone grab a weapon and don't get bitten got it!" She said before bursting out the classroom with a ruler to go get her new hockey stick.
Lu followed Mitch with a slight smile and her atlas at the ready. What excitement. "We should get to the basement." Lu said sheepishly. "The boiler room has a storm door that's hidden behind the generator." She added. It seemed that she spent more time hanging out with the dumb slacker janitor then she spent in class, and she knew the all the hidden corners of the school like the back of her hand. "There's a shortcut through the gym."
She ran down to the gym area and stopped when she saw Mr. Williams. "Mr. Williams is that you?" she asked. He moaned she backed up a few feet God Damm.nit she thought to herself. She took the stick and held in front of her ready to attack him as soon as he launched.
"Wait," Mitch said. "We would be cornered in the boiler room though, without food and water. Good idea, but maybe not." Mitch sighed and rubbed his temples. "It's either stay boxed in the school or brave the city. Which one is worse? And I know this sounds stupid, but do you think... Nah, but could it be zombies?" Mitch give a sort of 'I'm an idiot' look but tensed. He held a finger up to his lips and crept toward the door that a soft moan had come from behind.
((Thanks for joining DestroyedHeart!))
As the Mr. Williams lunged forward, Ardar jumped around him and hit him in the back with the meter stick. The zombie stumbled a few feet to the door, and she hit the zombie again harder this time so it was shoved way out the doorway. She jumped forward and whacked it again this time in the head.
Lu stifled her laughter with her fist. As crazy as it sounded, she couldn't help but be excited. "Oh I hope so." She said. "An apocalypse sounds better then a foreign invasion." She followed Mitch as he crept down the hall and left the atlas on the ground, pulling her knife out of her pocket as they heard the moaning. Yes, zombies, definitely zombies. Suddenly the door was thrown open and the janitor stumbled out, with a student armed with a meter stick was hot on his tail. "What the... Eddy what's goin on?" She asked the janitor, ready to step in. When he turned to look at her, Lu's eyes went wide. He wasn't Ed anymore.
"Well are you just going to stare at it. You'd think you would be better at this." said Ardar "Whack the thing in the head til it die's" She continued whacking it harder and harder, suddenly the zombie grabbed her meter stick. Ardi kicked up her leg and nailed the Mr. Williams in the face causeing him to stumble backwards and let go.
Lu was frozen. She couldn't kill Eddy! Zombie or not. But then the zombie grabbed onto Ardar's stick and Lu knew she had to act. She lunged forward, sinking her knife into the base of his skull. Lu stared at her bloody hand as Ed slumped to the floor. "No, no, no." She repeated. Lu's hands shook as she reached into his pocket for the set of keys.
