"Besides the possible reception from the outside world, nothing is stopping us except for the orderlies," Chaz pitched in, "On an unrelated note, did anyone want some chocolate?" With this question, Chaz pulled out a Hershey bar and started to take a bite of it.
Ignoring the blatant disregard of the controversial topic at hand, Evangaline took Chaz's words as encouragement to continue, that she was not alone in having these ideas. "We're hated and treated like garbage here, anyway. The world's reception can't be any worse than what we have here. Do you really think the orderlies could stop us?" At the thought of a battle, her panic started creeping up again. No...she shouldn't fight...it might happen again....
This time, Dmitri changed quickly. His hair shortened, and his eyes darkened a little bit. "The real world's the reason we're here anyways," he pointed out, his voice almost to a growl. He hated the world that had put him here. Hated it!
Joshi was nervous, evryone seemed to be getting angry or excited, she sung her legs and looked around, waiting for someone to explain the situation to her becuase she didn't understand. She chewed on her lip and eyed the chocolate in Chaz's hand, it looked good.
"True the world did put us here." he grunted, he managed to force himself into' human mode' as he called it and sit normally, this was he could think better.
Chaz was watching the conversation gain purpose and then he noticed Joshi looking at him. "Did you want some chocolate," he asked, "I've got another bar if you want it." He then produced another chocolate bar with a flourish offering it to Joshi.
Joshi reacehd froward and took the bar, forgetting what you were supposed to say when you were given something, she studied teh package for a bit until she remembered how to open it, she took a bite adn smiled cheerfuly at Chaz as she ate teh chocolate.
Evangaline was confused at what Mikey said. "What? People have tried escaping before? What happened?" But, realizing it was possibly one of Mikey's hallucinations, she focused back on the conversation. "Shannon....would you be wiling to fight back, if I did?"
"Uh oh, looks like conspiring against the system is looked down upon here," Chaz sighed as a large group of orderlies filed into the room to escourt the refugees back to their seperate rooms. "See you guys later," Chaz called as he was guided down the hallway and out the door. "You have your wallet with you?" Chaz asked the orderlie. The orderlie said nothing. "Okay then," Chaz responded, "I'll be going now." He slipped into his snitch and sneak mode and stole the key ring from the orderlie's belt. "Today is going to be one of those good days." Chaz told himself as he sauntered to the staff room to get some snacks for his stash.
Dmitri was being escorted back in silence. He had managed to change back before the orderly got to him, so he wouldn't have to answer for that. Escape. The single word was echoing around Dmitri's head. It was the only clear thought residing in his head as he went back to his room.
The orderlies came to take her back to her room, but for the first time, she didn't want to go. "No! You guys, don't you see! They're just trying to hide it! We CAN escape! We CAN get out of here!" Evangaline managed to knock out a few of the orderlies before they gave her the shot in all the confusion. "You guys.....we can...escape....."
Chaz waltzed down the hall to his "room" with his arms full of the goodies he unloaded from the vending machine. "This was a good haul, but I better hide it better than last time." Remembering the harsh punishment he got last time he was caught, Chaz hissed in a sharp breath as he noticed two orderlies outside his room. "Well, that's a problem," Chaz said as he turned on his heel and started walking the other way, "maybe later those goons will be gone."
Joshi sat in confusion, no orderlie came to get her, she obviously wasn't a threat. Considering she could barely remember her own name that probably was true.
Joshi slid off the chair and padded out of the room, starting to wander around ins earch of she didn't knwo what, a person, something to hold her attention.
Levi had been dragged out by orderlies, he had managed to escape them this time though and was running down the halls on all fours in search of a hiding place. If he could hide out unil the orderlies got bored of searching then he could be allowe dto stay out and not be locked away again.
