"Awesome," said Gloria, adrenaline already threatening to take over. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!"
"Okay," Rai murmured. He started towards the mansion.
((could you please stop the one-line responses?))
The mansion loomed ahead, looking just like a haunted house. Maybe she should move here....no, the mission. She had to take care of her duties first, weird obsessions second.
"Do we know what set these ghosts off? Might help up defeat them," Gloria said.
((No, I can't. Not really. It's kind of my style, when I have a lot to say, I'll have a lot to say. It's purposeful.))
"Hmm," Rai thought for a bit. "No, I don't. They didn't reveal anything about the ghosts. I'm guessinng because none of them are related to the mansion and if they are... Then we'll find out." Rai finished and he blandly walked towards the mansion.
Before long, they were at the steps of the mansion. A few noises could be heard from behind the door, nothing suspicious or supernatural-sounding, but defininely enough to show something was moving around inside.
Pulling out her ninja stars, she cast a devilish grin to Rai. "You ready to rock n' roll?"
"I'm always ready to rock and roll," Rai said calmly. The truth was, he wasn't. But he calmly knocked on the door. After a few minutes, no one came to the door. Then he knocked again.
Marshall checked their surroundings, anticipating enemies when there were none. He looked down, there was a creaky floorboard.
Rai kicked open the doors and yelled out lively, "hello!" The sudden flicker of his personality dropped back down as soon as he landed on the floor. Rai returned to his normal posture and strolled along the mansion hallways.
