((crap, what would shapeshifters and demons do for fun?))
((sry, it says I posted but I guess it didn't do it, no idea why...))
Aztec thought for a bit, but then his grin spread dangerously wide, suggesting the mischief that presided when he wasn't preoccupied with war. "There....is a place my friends and I go, but I don't know if a girl like you would be up for it..."
"That sounds like a challenge," Aya says, raising a brow. "I bet I could handle it just fine if you can. You never were the brave one between us two," she adds teasingly.
Aztec laughed, but he knew she was right. He should feel embarassed at its truth, but Aya was the kind of girl he didn't mind losing to. "Ok, fine...as long as you're not scared of heights..." he added ominously, trying to pull her in more if anything.
Aya grins, a daring glint in her eyes. "You're talking to the girl who loves to be in her bird forms the most of any. Heights don't bother me in the least."
Aztec held his hands up in defense. "Hey, just checking. Wouldn't want it to be he.ll for ya. Anyway, let's go!" He started heading away from town, somewhat in the direction of the river.
Zenaya follows closely, trying - and failing - to hide the excited expectation in her eyes.
Aztec was propelled forward by Aya's apparent excitement. She was probably the first girl to traverse this path, he thought, turning off the city street onto a thin dirt road that ran parallel to the riverside. About a block's length in front of them loomed a bridge, and as they came closer, multiple cords could be seen dangling from the bridge. By far, this was the best place to bungee jump Aztec knew of.
((bump in the road))
