Nate leaned back into the hard bus seat and put his headphones in. The bus was mostly empty, just him, a couple commuters and a a couple that was sucking each others faces off. Not very many people came to Vistas. The sleepy town was small and in the middle of nowhere but thats what made it perfect for Nate and most of the other residents. About 20 minutes later, the creaky greyhound bus pulled into town and stopped at thetownsonly bus stop. Everyone excpt for the luststruck couple got off and went their seperate ways. Nate slowlymad ehis way down the street. he toook a deep breath. itwas good to be back home
Rai stared at the clear pond. He had an urge to jump in it and grab that sparkling item at the bottom. After wondering for a minute he finally jumped in.
Elena smiled at Yuki. Vista was a bit of a strange town to move to, what with these steange citizens. Elena didn't know what was up with most of them.
Jake rolled down the road enjoying the sunshine. It would be faster to get up and walk, but not everyone was... specail. It might scare someone. Seeing two girls talking, Jake rolled over to them in his wheelchair just being his friendly self. He knew a little about Elena, in a small town, you know something about everyone. The other girl looked new, he had never seen her. "Hey. Are you new?" He asked
Yuki turned around and gave a small smile to the boy behind her. He was in a wheelchair, but he seemed pretty cute. Maybe there was hope after all. "I'm Yuki," she said. "My family and I just moved here."
Rai retrieved the shiny item in the bottom of the pond and found a tear-shaped necklace. He didn't know how it got there, but it was calling out to him so he placed it on it's neck. After that he quickly walked away.
"Hi Yuki!" Jake said. "I'm Jake. So what brings you to this little town?" Jake asked playfuly.
Ciara awoke suddenly from her daydream. She stretched her legs and looked around, deciding that park benches definitely weren't comfortable, even if they were out of the sun. She stood up and noticed a small group of people. Some of them she recognized, but there was one girl she hadn't seen before. She walked over, smiling but being careful to hider her teeth. "Hey, I'm Ciara."
Jake saw Ciara and smiled at her. He had seen her around, but didn't know much about her.
Yuki ran her fingers through a lock of hair. "My dad had a job thing here. I'm from Japan, so this is my first time in America." She tilted her head to the side and smiled again, and Elena caught her eye, grinning at her.
(Mind if I join in? I can get a carachter put together quick.)
Sure! Go ahead!
Nate saw a group of people at the end of the street, talking to someone he had never seen beofre. He slowly walked pass the group hoping he wouldnt get pulled into the 'Welcome to our normal town' act.
Rai was walking when he saw an oddly formed group. Naturally he went to see what it was about.
Name: Shikume (She-coo-may)
Ethnicity: second generation Japanese-American
Species: Bird Anima (person with specific marking related to an animal that they can partially transform into. Bird related-wings, Dog-tail and ears, etc.)
Appearance: Tall and lean, wild dirty blonde hair, wears a bandana around his neck, prefers wearing T-shirts and faded cargo jeans, has sharp facial features and jade green eyes, and always is wearing his special sneakers. Around 16 years old.
Personality: Childish and troublemaking at times, but very serious when there is an important task at hand. Sometimes needs a little redirection in order to stay on topic. Always wanting to meet new people like him and make friends.
Jake smiled at Yuki. "Well then welcome to America, land of the hamburgers!" He grinned. "So you are here for a long time then?"
Yawning wide, Shikume decided that he should proabably start looking around to see what was new around town. Taking a step off of the rooftop he let his tawny brown wings spread wide and glided to the alleyway. Heading out onto the street, he noticed a small crowd gathering around a new girl. "Might as well see what all the commotion's about." With this, Shikume headed down the street.
Jake noticed Shikume. Nodding at Yuki he quickly rolled away, over to Shikume. "Are you crazy dud?" Jake asked. "Sh'e new and you show up in your wings, really? It looks as if she is one but doesn't know it. Could you put your wings away?"
((I don't know, can he put his wings away?))
Elena glanced at Shikume as he entered the group. She raised her eyebrows and turned back to Yuki.
"Well, I hope you're enjoying living in Vista." she said.
((He can, they look like tattoos on his shoulders when they aren't actually showing.)) "Yea, no problem, I just wanted to see if she might react to the exposure." With this, Shikume allowed his wings to fade down to the tattoos he had had since birth. "Speaking of the new girl, who is she?"
