"Hey boss, looks like we got ourselves a hero." One said, spotting Beck.
Beck awkwardly stepped forward and noted the lady in her distress. "Gentlemen," he began with a formal greeting.
"Get lost." The leader said, lacking patience.
Beck nodded. "Good morning to you too." He walked cautiously. "So, my I ask why all the ruckus and tying up if a fine damsel?"
"Grab him." The leader ordered two of the others. There were five in all,
Beck cursed inside but knew otherwise from the dozens of stories he had told to appear fearless and witty. He pulled his hands up an looked at both of them then the lady. "Not chit-chatters..."
The two approaching him drew swords. Resa squirmed and fought, even if it hurt. Her eyes pleaded with him.
Beck licked his lips and turned to the men, pulling out his knife. This wasn't how he planned on meeting his maker.
(I figure he'd get really lucky here in a minute...)
The first lunged at him, sword swinging down on him.
) Haha, yep :D)
He jumped back, trying not to yelp.
He snarled and the second tried getting him.
Swiftly, Beck flashed his blade, catching his side.
He yowled in pain. Resa stomped on the foot of the man holding her and took a brief oportunity to snatch his sword.
Beck faced the other one. Who was controlling his body and what was he doing?
(You can play any or all of them you know, to hurry up and get through with the scene...)
Before he knew it, both were down, bleeding out from various jabs here and there. He glanced at the lady.
Resa took down the man holding her, but when she went for the boss, he trapped her again, with a knife threateningly to her throat. "Lay down your weapon." He growled at Beck.
Beck swallowed and obeyed immediately, glaring intimately at the two. "Come on, let the girl go..."
"Who said I was letting her go?" He stuck his tongue in Resa's ear in a violating fashion, smirking at Beck as Resa cringed.
Beck winced as well. "Oh please, what use is she to you anyway? I mean think about it. All too ordinary. Simple curves, drab black hair... I could go on."
