Rori hated that she was too weak to fend off a mere human. "When will you tire of these games?" She whispered to herself. She started to run, but found that her effort before at coming over to Matt quickly, had drained her of all strength. She collapsed on the ground, breathing shallowly. Her head swam, and darkness threatened to overwhelm her.
Matt smirked almost cruelly before reaching down and grabbing her arm, pulling her up from the ground and pushing her back down on her bed. "I'll be back. You'll get some blood."
She could hear his voice from amidst the darkness. Was it just the lack of blood, or did he sound worried? No, it must be the lack of blood.... Rori finally fainted.
Matt blinked, pausing and looking to the side a moment. He'd made a vampire faint from overexhaustion. He shook his head before exiting the room to get Rori some blood. After he got a bag of blood from his storage room, he headed back. Of course, she was still unconscious. He waved the bag of blood under her nose, hoping the smell would bring her back just long enough for her to drink it.
Rori was in the dark for a long time. .... Although time wasn't something she was aware of. Finally she could hear a voice again, telling her to drink. Drink what? She felt something warm on her lips and drank greedily. Her eyes opened and she saw Matt standing over her with a blood bag in his hands. She had imagined drinking the blood—it was still unopened. She took it from him and slough she was nearly feral with thirst, she muttered, "Go please." She hated for people to see this side of her.
((*though* not slough... I'm not even sure what slough means XD))
Matt shrugged and turned to leave. At least she had the blood, that was all she needed right then. He left the room, the door opening and closing faster than he could blink.
Rori drained the blood bag cleanly, and threw it in the trash. She felt instantly better, and only wished there was more... And also that it was fresh. But those were dark thoughts and she almost couldn't bear to think them. Rori sat up on her bed, then went to the door. Figures—the door was locked. She tried breaking it down, like so many times before, with no success. If Matt didn't kill her, boredom would finish the job.
Joel kicked the wall as hard as he could. He had to get out. He had to find Rori, and they could kill Matt together, so he couldn't do this to anyone else. He couldn't even make a dent in the wall or the door. It was odd how indestrubtable this was. He just wanted to get out, get Rori, and leave. He couldn't quite remember how they even got there, but all he knew is that he wanted out.
Rori slumped, her back sliding down the wall in defeat. The most agonizing thing about it all was knowing a Joel was somewhere in the same building.... And she never saw him.
Eventually, Matt had to go back and check on them both. He visited Joel first, narrowly missing a kick in the face as Joel kicked the wall. He threw a bag of blood at the vampire, who drained it quickly before throwing the bag back at Matt.
"When do I get to see her?" Joel hissed angrily.
"You don't." Matt responded flatly.
Rori crossed her arms. Maybe she could keep Matt from opening the door. She would try at least...
Matt had finished with Joel for then, completely wearing him out with the same thing as before, laps around the room in circles, and then latching him to the wall with iron clasps, and waiting for him to escape. He headed back to Rori's room, opening the door and stepping in, the door closing with a snap.
((Does that mean he's inside the room? Or it wouldn't open? XD))
((he tried to open it, but it didn't work))
((Lol, okay. Sorry)).
Rori felt the door open and slam shut again. "Go away!" She yelled. "Leave me alone!"
((no it's fine. I wasn't specific))
"Move, Rori," Matt commanded dully. "If you even want me to consider letting you see Joel, I suggest you move. And, I am the one who feeds you."
Rori was on the verge of tears. She wasn't thinking straight. "I said go away! I hate you!" She never wanted to see his cold, handsome face ever again. Never wanted to be treated like less than human, and looked at with such disgust.
"You'd rather starve?" Matt almost laughed. He knew she would be begging for food, for Joel, for whatever she really wanted eventually. "I'm the one who feeds you. You can't get anything from anyone else but me."
That was true. She didn't care anymore, about any of it. She stood up and waited for the door to open. She felt dead inside.
