She could still taste him in her mouth--drinking blood had never been so...intimate before. She scooted away and makes sure her lips weren't shining with his blood before saying, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, of course I am," Matt sighed. "I'm fine, perfectly fine." When he repeated it, it was more to assure himself, rather than her.
Rori crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the wall, forcing her eyes not to wander to the fresh wound on his neck. "You gonna cover that up?" she said. She knew there was a way vampires stopped the bloodflow and closed the wounds, but she wasn't about to go near him again.
"Oh right, yeah," Matt brought his hand up and covered the wound, really just because she asked. It wasn't really hurting him that much, it was just numb. He tried to ignore the feeling of blood on his hand.
Rori listened at the door for signs of Joel. She could hear him breathing and she called out, "Aren't you bored, yet?"
"Yes," Joel sighed in response. He could smell Matt even more now. Why hadn't he just bitten the stupid human when he had the chance, then he would have all his strength, and possibly would have been able to get out. The smell of Matt's blood was intoxicating though. Any blood was.
((Can't get to this now, but bump))
"Then why don't you go away?" Rori sighed. "Why do you need me? Why can't you just move on?" She really didn't see why he had to keep tormenting her. Wasn't decades of deception enough?
((sorry i didn't see you'd replied))
"Well that's the thing sweetheart," Joel taunted. "If I leave, then so can you, and I'm not letting that happen. I'm mainly waiting for either you, or the human to come out, and you can't come out unless the human is with you. So I don't need you."
Rori paled and glanced at Matt. "I guess this means I should go out, so you can escape. He only needs one of us..."
((wait, no....i'm confused X_X))
