((Okey dokey. It's your turn, btw XD))
((Okay I'll reply now. I'm going to change a couple things obviously to fit the eight but it'll still work out. :)))
Emery sensed other angels there while he was reciting his poem. It was part of the reason he'd been so into it. Once he had finished Emery went backstage where the comepetitors were snapping for him as well. He felt honored though he knew half of it was because he was so well known.
He had started chatting with one of the stage crew members about his inspiration when he gasped feeling as though the wind had been knocked right out of him. "Rylan." he whispered to himself.
Emery ran out the back door like a bat out of he.ll leaving the man he'd been talking to confused. He searched around thinking 'Yes! Finally I've found ONE of my siblings.' That meant he was one step closer to regaining his wings.
But something was off the closer he came to his brother, the angel of distrust. He could hear a girl screaming, the angel he had sensed. "Rylan!" Emery yelled running up to the scene. "What it God's name are you doing man?"
Rylan was indeed glowing with his aura. It seemed to be devouring his entire body. But the fallen angel stopped suddenly when he heard Emery's name. "Em?" he whispered snapping out of his sudden insanity, aura calming down. "What - I thought I'd never find you again."
Emery shook his head. "Never mind that! I know it's great. But what are you doing to these poor girls? One of them being a fellow angel because I can smell it." Rylan glared back at Robyn and Kai, who had gotten away from him and back to the angel. "I kill now Emery. These humans... people... They are thankful for nothing. They deserve death."
"NO!" Emery snapped, his aura completely gone now that he had no love in his midst. "That is not true Rylan. We will become true angels again. Do you hear me? We just have to find the other six. You don't need to kill. It's not you. Being fallen is getting to you brother."
((Sorry if it's too long. :P))
Robyn gasped. "Imiri?" So it was him. "What is his blasphemy you speak of? Do you really think you'll be forgiven after what you did?" She stepped in front of Kai. "Don't touch her," she warned Rylan. "I WILL banish you to he.ll. and this time, you'll stay there for good."
((Sorry if its too short, lol. I'm on my iPad and its annoying to type long paragraphs... Def more tomorrow though XD))
((Okay I'm going to bed so do you mind just replying a little more tomorrow and I'll get to it? Please and thank you. And goodnight. :)))
Imiri didn't respond. He wouldn't look at her—he recognize her now too. They'd been lovers, until he was cast out of heaven. Now all he was was broken.
"Well, are you going to fight me or not?" Robyn said to Rylan, who hadn't moved but hadn't backed off either.
Rylan bared his sharp teeth until Emery put a hand to his chest. "No Rylan. We don't kill. You know that." Emery said in a very low, calm voice. Rylan's eyes stayed on the girls but he gave a curt not. "Fine." he muttered.
Emery turned around to look at Robyn. His heart ached. He longed to feel her in his arms again even if he couldn't feel her. "He won't fight you Robyn." he said in the same tone he used to use to calm her down when she got angry. "As for your question, yes. Once all of us are together again we will get our wings back."
Rylan glared at Robyn. He had never liked her and always wanted Emery to find someone better. "Yeah and after we'll get a high rank and become guardians." Rylan snapped. Emery sighed, feeling his aura slip away more and more. He hated when there was sorrow or anger in the area. It wasn't in his nature unless he had to go into protective mode.
Robyn was now battling herself. She knew that I'd she fell in love with Imiri again—it was Emery now, right?— then she would be cast out of heaven.... But his EYES. They spoke to her like no pure angel's did. He KNEW her, to her soul.
"Imiri," she started, then but her lip. What would he think of her now? She was becoming weak—he Fallen hated weakness.
((*if* not I'd. Sorry, when I get home and have access to a computer I'll have better grammar, I promise :P))
"Don't. I'm sorry my brother bothered you." Emery said snapping his fingers at Rylan before pointing towards the club. Rylan tore his gaze from the girls and sighed going through the backstage door. Emery watched him before looking back at Rylan. His hands itched to touch her but he knew he wouldn't be able to feel her anyway. "What did you do? I can feel you... Closer." He whispered watching his old love with the scorching brown eyes he possessed. "Fallen? How is that even possible?" He looked astounded.
((haha it's fine.))
((Not sure what you mean at that last part: "fallen? How is that possible?"))
((He's asking her if she's fallen. Like he never expected it. Cause isn't your character falling or whatever? Sorry if that didn't make sense.))
((Oh! No, I just had a blonde momentXD)).
Robyn glance up at him through her lashes. "I... I don't know what you're talking about." But her heart was pounding so hard she wondered if he could hear it. Her aura became diluted, a dark gold. She was Falling — again.
Emery stared at her for a full minute before looking away. "Um alright..." he mumbled knowing Robyn obviously didn't want to talk about it. He knew he needed to get back inside for the contest announcements. He hoped he hadn't missed them. "Well yeah..."
Emery just left it like that and hurried back inside where everyone was actually looking for him. "Hey you won!" a random stranger yelled causing everyone to look back at Emery. He looked startled but let everyone push him towards up the stage where the judges were standing to congradulate.
Robyn turned to Kai. "Let me get you home now," she said, and lifted her into the sky.
Robyn didn't know why she was returning. Well she did, but she didn't want to admit it. Imiri had said he could get his wings back--was it true? She had to find out... before it was too late for her.
Back inside the cafe where Emery was reading, Robyn stood in the back by herself. He'd won! A surge of pride shot through her, startling herself. Of course he won... he's Emery. She watched as they pushed him back onstage. There was something different about him since she'd last seen him--something happier, free.
Emery looked all around trying to sense his brother Rylan. All he picked up though was Robyn. 'What is she doing back here?' he thought to himself as he was presented with the papers to get more of his work published.
He searched through the city as best he could and felt his brother around his own home. After letting out a sigh of relief he took the papers from the judges. Emery wasn't really all there and if people looked closely they could tell but no one was.
Emery managed a very tight smile in his congradulator's direction before striding gracefully backstage. Even though he was a fallen angel he still had grace. He picked up his guitar and tried to forget about Robyn. Half of him hoped she'd come find him. But the other half hoped she didn't.
Robyn sighed. He'd gone back stage. Maybe this was her cue to leave. He obviously didn't want her. She turned to go out the doors, when Rylan appeared in front of her.
"Stay away from my brother, you no-good b.itch," he snarled. "He doesn't need some hoity-toity do-gooder trying to win his heart. You ditched him when he Fell--you think he's forgiven you for that?"
Robyn gasped. "I would have Fallen too! I had no choice!" She looked to her feet, knowing this was a lie. "I.... I was forbidden."
Rylan smiled, but it was a shark's smile. "Oh, really? He would have Fallen for you."
Robyn tried to step around Rylan but he blocked her path swiftly. His aura was pulsing with darkness. He'd always had a hot temper. "Why were you after Kai?" Robyn said, changing the subject. "What's so special about her?"
Rylan smirked. His plan was working... her aura was diluting by the second. First was the lust, then the lie. Soon she'd be his forever.
Emery retreived his bongo and put his papers in the backpack he'd brought. He sighed to himself wondering where Robyn was. He really did miss her but didn't want to pursue it. He was sure she was better off without him anyway.
On his way out the crowd screamed and cheered for him to do another poem. Emery just shook his head as he went out the back door of the club. When he was outside he put up the hood to his black jacket and rounded the corner only to bump into Rylan and Robyn.
"Ry? I thought you went back to my place? What on earth are you doing?" Emery noted how Robyn looked and that they were alone. He frowned. "Rylan? What did I say? Leave her alone. I am not playing with you." Emery sounded very protective. It was the first real emotion he'd shown towards Robyn that wasn't negative all night.
