I want someone who will be on posting daily (Small skipped days are tolerable). This is a MATURE romance. There WILL be mature details in se.xual encounters and references. Also, I do want your to be as literate as humanly possible. I'd like to be able to read and understand your posts. One liners are tolerated and may be common of me, but if you can make more than one line, it would be preferred. I may deny you for this RP because I want someone with a somewhat specific writing style. I may ask you to give an example post. My apologies for seeming picky but I may not be as picky as I seem.
This story is focused on a teenage girl in high school. She has always had a strange sense of the paranormal. Skeptical by force of how her family treated her stories when she was younger, by the end of middle-school, she became a full believer of the paranormal. A believer that anything was possible, from ghosts and demons, -which she had experienced- to werewolves and vampires, -which she had no proof of.
She made a habit of visiting a particular abandoned house, which was haunted. She had the ability to see and speak to the dead inhabitants of that house. But one day something dark she had never encountered before in the house appeared. It destroyed the ghosts and when it got near her, it hurt her. It started to follow her around, trying to get to her and harm her, but it had limitations. She didn't know what it was, because it didn't seem like the demon she had encountered. It was different. Deadlier.
We pick up here. One day, she gets cornered in the woods by the dark force, but then out of nowhere appears a dark man. This dark man catches her in his arms, and the darkness chasing her flees. He is paranormal, she can sense. But he won't tell her why or what he is. Only that he'd never harm her, and he'd always keep her safe. They fall in love, and there's more but I don't want to spoil it for you.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think I really would prefer to play the guy in this.
I feel awkward at the moment, because I have been extremely bad about posting this week, but should you find no one else... I'm here. Tomorrow is Friday, and after school, I should return to my normal posting patterns. Plus, when spring break comes on Thursday, I will be on most the day and partially night. So, yes. Indeed. Just sticking my résumé out there. Oh, and I can get more detailed than I am in Stowaway. The first time was just in an awkward moment and thus I shortened it.
It's alright. Really my writing habits come off of whoever I write with. And considering my impatience and the dificulty in finding someone else I'd like to do this particular 1x1 with, I'll tollerate odd posting for you.
I should be on regularly now. It was just one bad week, honestly… I’m determined not to get buried again. So, 3 point skellies. Any particular age range?
Highschool age. Preferably under 18. I just need Name, Age, Appearance, and maybe a general explaination of what family she lives with and stuff? Her relationship with them...the type of parents she has...the low class, lower middle class, upper middle class, got money coming out of their ears, etc.
Alright, I'll get right on that and post it ASAP. I'll be on well into the night... so we should be able to get decently far in the story.
Well I'm not completely sure yet, but I may have to go to bed early. My parents are both off work tomorrow and off days usually mean being woken up early and dragged around town from antique shop to antique shop. And I hear talk of golfing -.-
I get woken up early on Saturdays. I’m used to 2-5 hours of sleep, though. And coffee helps a lot. I just discovered that today. Antique shops…and golfing… wow. That sounds, um… no comment. >.< Hey, if I have a picture for the appearance, and I cut the link in half or something (assuming that would fool this darn site) can I just use that for appearance?
No. I hate pictures for appearances. You may use a picture as a reference to describe your character, but I'm afraid I don't like pictures. And anyway, it's specific parts of the link that gets blocked like co.m
Name: Juliet Quinn
Age: 17 (Junior in high school)
Appearance: Juliet stands at about 5’ 8”. She’s generously curved, though her height makes her seem thin. Her hair is a very, very dark brown—almost black with brown undertones. It’s extremely straight and reaches the small of her back. She does not have bangs and usually parts it on the side. Her skin is very fair, pink undertones, but not to the point of looking sickly. Her lips are full and light pink in color. Her eyes are a deep olive green in the center, branching out in a duller green towards the edges with the final ring being greenish amber. There are small flecks of amber and yellow as well. She does wear glasses, very large, square glasses with soft edges. The frames are thick and black, with a thin white stripe on each side. Her earlobes are double pierced—from one of her rebellious outbursts—she usually wears a black pearl stud on top and silver one on the bottom.
Family: Juliet’s parents are divorced. She’s been traveling back and forth in a poorly thought out shared custody agreement, moving from one to the other every 2 weeks or so. It’s quite the distance, and as such she goes to 2 separate schools. One charter and one private. Her mom is upper middle class, a very respectable child’s physician. She does not have a good relationship with her mom, and usually stays out of the house hanging with friends. She’s extremely rebellious towards her mother, going to parties and making bad choices for the sole reason of upsetting her. Her mother doesn’t believe in her daughter’s fantasies. Her father, on the other hand, is borderline low class/lower middle class. He works as a cashier at the Home Depot. He is a little more understanding towards his daughter’s beliefs, not discouraging her from believing them. As such, she likes her father more. She doesn’t act up and stays in the house when she is in his custody. They have a pretty decent relationship, overall, though they aren’t to the point of seeming like friends. She doesn’t talk about problems with him; it is more as if she tolerates him. There are others in the picture—her stepfather, who she doesn’t know too well yet, and a younger stepsister, who she loves. Her dad dates on and off, usually having women in the house, but nothing serious.
Name: Nathaniel (Nathan or Nate).
Appearance: 6'5", with chin-length raven black hair and deep emerald green eyes. His skin is quite tan, as if he lives in the sun and the sun loves him. He has hard-earned muscles, and can go from looking like a high school teenager to an ancient man with just his aura and the way he holds himself. His features are considered attractive, although if he wasn't so strongly built, he'd be considered mostly average. He has a tattoo covering his back of a black dragon tangled with a white dragon with their heads at the top of his back almost like a yin yang symbol.
(( Are you starting, or am I? ))
((One day, she gets cornered in the woods by the dark force, but then out of nowhere appears a dark man. This dark man catches her in his arms, and the darkness chasing her flees. I'd like if you'd start at the beginning of this explanation.))
(( Okay. It'll probably be a bit long. ))
Juliet bolted through the woods like lightning tears through the sky. Her feet hit the ground in a clumsily rhythm, matching her increasing heart rate. It was after her. She couldn't stop now. She never should've came out here alone. She was intrepidly foolish. Her lungs worked overtime, each shallow breath feeling like a shot of acid regrettably forced down. The trees passed by in an indistinct blur. She vaguely heard the sound of the leaves crunching below and somewhat felt the chilled air hit her face. Maybe that was why it hurt so much to breathe. To keep going. But she had to continue. It would kill her, like it killed George and the other ghosts. The zipper of her hoodie made a faint clinking noise, her shoelaces were starting to come undone with the rapid movement of continuous running.
She thought she might make it, until she came to the river. Deep, fast, and cold. She couldn't cross it. She looked around. She was already lost. But she had to keep running. She could pick a way and continue. She tried to start running again, she tried to get away... But it was no use. Her legs clung to the relief brought by stopping. They demanded rest, boycotting her wishes along with the rest of her physical body. Her spirit and resolve had no choice but to comply. She sank to the ground helplessly, gasping and looking back through the forest in terror. It was coming... She was good as dead. "Please... I need a miracle." She heard herself say. Or maybe it wasn't her at all. She wasn't sure anymore.
Nathan had been kneeling in the bushes next to the river, waiting as his vision had warned him to do. She came, of course, exhausted from running so hard and long from the darkness coming to destroy her. There was a chance he'd have enough to chase it away, but there was also a chance it had already consumed enough souls to destroy even his immortal body and soul. He moved quickly as it closed in, rushing to the girl and catching her in his arms.
To his relief, the darkness was far from strong enough. With a horrible squeal, it stopped before disappearing, going into hiding from him. He looked down at Juliet. "Are you alright?"
Juliet gazed upward at the man who had saved her. At least, she thought he had saved her. If it was afraid of him, and obviously it was terrified, maybe he wanted something from her. She knew he wasn't normal. He was a dark force, too. She wasn't sure exactly what he was, as she had only encountered spirits before, but she knew he was supernatural. She swallowed dryly, her breath still coming out in rapid bursts. She nodded. "Y-yes, I'm o-okay."
