(( just jump in and tell the story from your characters point of view.))
(( so we're all just telling the story from our character's point of view then? ))
((yep or in mine and rarelys cases the point of view of both of our characters.))
Rosalyn awoke to the awful sound of a low moaning. The noise was coming from all around, pressing down on her like a heavy paperweight. She realized it was coming from her own mouth, spilling out like venom. Her head hurt and she couldn't open her eyes but she knew something was wrong. The pain was intense in her whole body, like she was alit from within.
Finally she managed to peel back her eyelids, only to recoil in shock from the sight they fell upon. Bodies were strewn all around, some half-hidden by the sand, but others mangled or floating in the water. There was a girl lumbering towards her, and Rosalyn could make out the dirty blonde hair that wasn't matted red by blood.
"Who are you?" Rosalyn gasped, trying to sit up but failing as a spasm of pain rocked through her chest.
It seemed the sky was raining fire and debris.
Johnboy half burned woke up with excruciating pain, as he was half burned and the sand was embedded in his sores. "ahhhhh" cries john boy. he saw his freind next him dead. "noooo, why him why not me!"
johnboy was devasted at what happened, "wait where am I?"
(( how's that, terrible probably...))
(( no not terrible I promise))
Luna coughed " My name is... Luna.' Is all she could manage. Her voice sounded hourse and forign to her own ears. Looking the girl over she didn't look good she was covered from head to toe with injuries some looking worse than others.
Some where in the distance Rhys heard a yelling he couldn't bring himself to fully wake up yet. His leg felt like it was on fire and that was all he could regester. He felt the air leave his throat in a quiet moan and dreaded it. He knew on some level that he would become concious shortly and would soon feel the full pain of the crash.
Though Rosalyn could not hear what the girl was saying, as her ears were full of dried blood and sand, she could tell the girl was friendly. Rosalyn swung her head around to survey the damage and winced from the rash movement.
"Ungh" said the other girl . again, pointing. Rosalyn turned her head in the direction she was pointing in and saw a boy bent over his friend.
"Ungh!" The boy wailed, over and over. Slowly Rosalyn regained her hearing, and she brushed most of the sand out to hear better. "Daryl!" The boy kept saying. "No....."
Rosalyn shut her eyes again. It was better to be dead. She wished she were dead
Luna heard the boy yelling for his friend and went to go try and help. "Hey... hey it's okay. calm down..." she slowly aproached the boy trying to gauge his next reaction. As she got closer she could tell that he was probably older than she was. His clothes showed that he was what she always though of as an good old fashoned country boy. she smiled weakly not knowing what he would do.
(( i think i get it now ))
" What....what do you want!?" Johnboy yelled at the girl. Johnboy was deeply hurt from his friend passing, and he took his anger out on this girl, but he then calmed himself down, "sorry, i just lost my friend and wasn't expected someone there", but now johnboy felt like this girl was deeply hurt, and he felt horrible about it, but all he could think about right now is his friend passing away.
(( do we know what part of the world this crash was, it might help to know later on in the story ))
Rosalyn watched the other girl go over to th boy. She noticed that the boy, though covered in debris and his own blood, was dressed as a good old-fashioned country boy. She smirked, and her lips cracked with the movement. It was funny to her for some reason. The three survivors were all so different. A country boy, a silly girl, and then there was Rosalyn — the steel-cold robot of someone who's seen to much of the world.
Maybe it was inevitable that the ship had crashed. Life sucked.
Kay scraped some blood off of her arm. She used the salt from the water to get into the wounds, hoping it would keep out infection. She'd awoken a long time ago, before any of them. She watched now as the two girls watched the older boy cry over his friend. Kay's own family lay somewhere near, in the water. After hours of calling her parents' names, she had let them drift off with the tide.
The salt water splashed onto her face, mixing with the salty tear stains until her sorrow vanished along with any trace of her old life.
(( let's say its undiscovered, so that way no one comes to rescue them and they have to learn to survive without turning into animals ))
((Okay that sounds good))
Rhys woke very suddenly. As He opened his eyes he thought he was still unconcious. The scene around him was terrifing. all around him were bodies some of them showing signs of life others not so much. Off in the distance he could see four people who were fully concious. He tried to stand up but quickly learned that it was impossiable. his leg had a piece of metal sticking out of it just above the knee. He almost passed out from the sight. though he couldn't stand he did manage to sit up. looking over at the group there appeared to be two teenage girls, a toddler and a teenage guy. "Does anybody know what happened?" he yelled hoping they would hear him.
((Thought Rhys already woke up))
(( He was semi awake he could hear yelling but that was it he couldn't force himself to fully wake up yet. Have you ever fallen asleep and been able to hear everything going on around you? If not then its kind of hard to understand but that is what happened to him.))
"It's okay I understand." Luna muttered. she looked around at the bodies scattered around the beach. somewhere amungst them were her church group. They had been on a trip to europe when the accident happened. She offered her hand to the boy. "I'm Luna by the way."
Kay stumbled, splashing through the water away from her floating family, and crashed onto the shore. Under her nails were splinters from clinging to the driftwood—debris from the wrecked ship—and the sand felt warm and soft under her skin. It clung to her damp body like a hug and she almost forgot the dead bodies strewn around her.
After a while she just watched the wreckage. A couple other survivors had woken—two boys now, plus the two girls—but none of them had noticed her yet.
Rosalyn forced herself to move. She shoved up from the ground on her elbows and rose unsteadily to her knees. After a dizzy spell, she found purchase under her feet and started towards a nearby palm tree. In the distance she saw a form—small and thin. A girl?
Johnboy meets his hand with Luna's, "Hi i'm Johnboy, where are we?, what happened?, why is my friend dead?"
(( sorry this is all i could think of right now, kind''ve busy ))
Rosalyn peered up at the distant figure. It hadn't moved. Maybe it was only a weirdly shaped rock. After all, doesn't salt water do things to the brain? She turned once, to see that no one had followed her. Someone shouted "Does anybody know what happened?!" but all Rosalyn said to that was a muttered "Sure as he.ll don't." And she continued her way up the sand dune.
Kay grew tense as the girl approached. She looked wild--like the rest of them. Although Kay was wise, she was still little, and was afraid that the girl would be mean. She still heard shouting from the waterline.
When would they realize it was hopeless and give up? But for now, Kay waited alone and hopeless--waited for the girl to arrive.
"Umm...I'm calling you John cause it is easier. and as for your questions your guess is as good as mine." Luna frowned. She had noticed the other girl get up and walk around. Good to know other people can still walk too. "Can you walk?" John was covered with an assortment of injuries like the rest of them.
Kay shook a little. A cold wind was gusting from the north. And maybe fear had a part in it, too.
Rosalyn neared the figure. By now she could tell it was a girl. So little! Sympathy engulfed her, a feeling she rarely felt.
"Are you okay?" Rosalyn said.
"My parents are dead," the girl stated bluntly. Her face was tearless.
"Mine too, I'm sure." Rosalyn hesitated. "I'm Rose."
"Kay." The small girl held out a hand but did not rise from her perch on the sand.
"We need to stick together," they both said at once. A smile grew on Kay's face. In response, Rosalyn beckoned to the shore. "Think they're dangerous?"
Okay, so people are ingnoring me I can live with that. Rhys tried to stand up again and by some miracle got to the point of being able to hop on one leg torwards the rest. on his way he picked up a stick that was big enough to be used as a crutch or a weapon if need be. he would never use it on one of the girls but the boy if need be he could defend himself. once he got within 50 feet he yelled. "Just bleeding to death over here but no worries I'll be just fine."
