"I love you so much." Aiden whispered once he had caught his breath. He soon was out like a light, too tired to do anything else. His purring had quieted down but hadn't stopped fully. It showed that Aiden was happy and content.
Ash smiled faintly at Aiden's words, more than glad to hear them. He gently stroked Aiden's hair and ears and just layed there, listening to that soft purr. It was beginning to lull him to sleep, and in no time he drifted off.
Aiden purred quietly the whole time he was asleep. He felt so content and safe in Ash's arms it was unreal. He'd never felt that way. No nightmares occured when he was in Ashs arms which the half feline loved. It was closed to lunch time when Aiden started to wake. He mumbled incoherently feeling a dull pain in his lower back and bottom.
Ash, being the heavy-sleeper her was, didn't wake when Aiden did. His face was still stuck in that peaceful expression he had when sleeping, his arms still around Aiden's waist loosely. He didn't even dream. Eventually he shifted, still asleep, to hold Aiden a little tighter.
Aiden's eyes fluttered open when he felt Ash hold him even tighter. The small male purred lovingly looking at Ash with tired eyes. He rubbed Ash's chest gently with his hand kissing it once.
With a soft, sleepy sigh, Ash's eyes blinked open. His brow furrowed for a minute till he realised where he was and what was going on. When he did realise, though, he smiled widely, giving Aiden a soft kiss.
Aiden felt like he was melting when Ash kissed him. His purrs went louder for a split second in an affectionate way. "Hi." he whispered when the kiss ended, looking into Ash's eyes with red cheeks and pink hair.
Ash grinned boyishly, giving Aiden another quick kiss, this time on the cheek. "Hi," he greeted, his smiling only widening. "Sleep okay?" Ash's sleep was more than okay, that was for sure.
"I always sleep well when I'm with you." Aiden admitted with a purr. He nuzzled his face into the side of Ash's neck before looking up into his eyes again. "I'm kind of hungry... Do you think someone is going to show us around this place?" he whispered curiously.
"Do you? That's good..." So Aiden slept better now? That made Ash feel oddly proud. He chewed on his lip, parting the bed-curtain slightly to look outside; the door was still open, apparently. "Well... Someone might, unless they heard all the racket we were making earlier..."
Aiden's face went a bright red when their noise was brought to his attention. "O-Oh." he whispered. He merely nodded about Ash helping him sleep better and hid his face in Ash's neck. He felt even more embarrassed so his hair went a brighter pink.
Ash chuckled softly, kissing Aiden's hair and cuddling him closer. "Look how pink your hair is... So cute." That meant Aiden was embarrassed, right? So, so adorable.
Aiden couldn't stop the purr that came when Ash showed him affection. "I'm not cute." he mumbled while nuzzling Ash's neck. His hair just got pinker the more embarrassed he was. While they were cuddling a knock came on the open door. "Hello? Um I don't mean to interrupt anything..." An older male's voice came from the doorway. They couldn't be seen even though their skin was exposed because of the curtains around the bed.
"You are very cute," Ash argued with a smile, before he jumped at the new voice from the doorway. Oh great; probbaly someone to complain about how loud they were, huh? "Uh, no, you aren't interupting..." he called back, thankful that the curtains were hiding both him and Aiden.
"Well I have just come to direct you to all the places in the castle. I am Stephan. Mind coming out so we can get aquainted properly?" the old dragon demon asked. He had a long white and gray beard, scarles covering a lot of his skin in red and orange colours. Aiden hid his face in Ash's neck becoming nervous, naturally clinging onto the other male.
"Uh..." Ash felt a blush burning his cheeks now. "Yeah, yeah, no problem..." He glanced down at Aiden, sighing softly and kissing his hair. Poor little guy was still scared of everything, of course... "Um, could we have a minute or two, please? To, uh... Find clothes..."
"Of course." Stephan's voice came with a smile and he went to stand just in the hallway, closing the door behind him. Aiden's hair had become a light white with fear. He knew that he had wondered if someone would come to show them around but that didn't stop him from being afraid. Aiden clung onto Ash even tighter forcing himself to keep breathing evenly.
Ash breathed a sigh of relief when the man left. "Hey," he murmured quietly into Aiden's hair, gently stroking those adorable kitty ears. "It's alright, sweetheart. It's all fine. No one's going to hurt you, okay? He just wants to show us around the place. Don't worry. I won't let anyone hurt you."
Aiden purred quietly when he felt Ash rub his ears. He looked up into his eyes finding himself believing Ash. "Okay." he whispered as he sat up, ears twitching. The small male peeked out to see if the man was truly out of the room then he started to collect his clothes. His hair slowly faded to black showing he wasn't scared.
Ash smiled and sat up as well, capturing Aiden's waist in his arms from behind. He pressed a soft kiss to the boy's back. "I love you," he whispered against Aiden's skin, smirking faintly. "I wish you didn't have to put your clothes back on so soon, y'know?" He chuckled quietly before releasing him, grabbing his own clothes.
