Nathan blinked then sighed. "Look, I appreciate this but you shouldn't be hanging out with me. 'You might catch my crazy.'l
"I'm used to 'crazy', seeing as my twin's practically emotionless," Emily says, waving a hand dismissively. "Anyway, I'm Emily Browning. My brother's Lark."
Nathan waved a bit t Lark. "Hey."
Lark nods almost imperceptibly, otherwise not realy paying much attention to Nathan. "Sorry about him... He doesn't really interact with people..." Emily mumles.
Nathan nodded. "It fine, really."
Emily smiles faintly. "Right, so... I guess we should go... Sorry for bothering you..."
Nathan shrugged. "It's cool. Bye I guess."
Emily turns on her heel, touching Lark's arm as she passes. "Come on."
Nathan closed the door without another word to her.
Emily frowns slightly, starting back toward her home. Oh jeez... I think he's like Lark... she thinks to herself worriedly.
Nathan laid back on his bed again and yawned.
(Skip to the next day when the "games" would most likely start?)
(Sounds good to me.)
Emily walks onto the college campus, her hair pulled back out of her face. Surprisingly enough, Lark was nowhere to be seen despite his usual following of his sister.
Nathan walked past her, frowning. He grabbed his bag tight.
Emily quickens her pace slightly to keep up, raising a brow. "Hey, uh..." She shakes her head, mentally slapping herself. Brilliant, Em. That's all you can think of?
Nathan glanced down at her and sighed, walking faster. 'Not this again...'
Emily frowns, crossing her arms. "Oh, did I do something wrong?"
Nathan shook his head. "Just want to be left alone."
"Y'know, you're a lot like Lark... Antisocial, no emotion..." Emily shrugs, laughing softly.
