"Aw he.ll!" Ivanhoe was confused, his sword could kill demons, how did the mage even get up? "You're one psycho little ghost." He observed, staring at her bloody chest. He had impaled her, nothing supernatural or otherwise could stand up after that. She was a dark mage, and Ivanhoe was severely outmatched, but he wasn't one to go down without a fight.
"I'm not a ghost, I'm not dead yet." Eliza smiled, there was only one way to kill her, and a sword wasn't it. "Any last words?" She asked, if he made them good enough she might make his death less painful, "I think a I'm sorry for killing you unprovoked would be a good choice, but whatever you see fitting will work just fine."
Rai inturrupted them. "Sorry to intrude, but I have to tell you necromancer. The only person who can cheat death is death himself." He waved and the mist vanished.
"Sticks and stones,
shant break my bones,
for your words do hurt me,
join me AllaLee for me enlightning."
Elza said softly and a single mist appereed, this one was her protector that couldnt be sent away. "So what are you?" she asked, he was clearly something powerful. True, the spell she cased was weak, but he was more than a mage.
"Some call me shinigami, others call me a soul reaper," Rai smiled he paced around lightly, "it is true in fact, that I am a soul reaper.... But." Rai stoped, "specifically speaking, I am the one and only... Grim Reaper." At that exact moment lightning hurled through the sky and thunder clapped it's hands. In that moment, which the lightning hid, Rai's eyes showed a long road of pain.
Eliza smiled, "in that case, it is my honor to meet you, though I must wonder why you would allow your friend to attack me, when I intended no harm to him?" As she spoke she pushed down her hood, to show her black hair and stunningly beautiful features. She hated sunlight, though the woods was dark from the thick foliage. The Grim Reaper himself, Eliza was shocked.
Rai kept his smile, "because I am the grim reaper and I knew that you'd be a necromancer. I can sense people like you. I guess it's because, like me, necromancers have a hard time dying."
"I find it hard to believe you are the Grim Reaper, I know you are but still. I always figured he was a unattractive creature." Eliza said running her hand through her hair, she may look like she was seventeen, but in reality she was one-hundred and seventeen. The perk about what she was is that she would never mature past eighteen, so she was young and beautiful for life. "Nevertheless what are you doing with this bounty hunter? I mean what could he possibly do for you?"
"Just a companion," Rai looked at Farus, "and the paintings of my are a symbolization of death reaping souls or something like that."
"I see." Eliza looked away to a near tree, a bird was in a branch singing... So annoying. "I figured they were, though it still in my head accurately represented you. Now that I think of it though it is much more logical with it only being a representation." The bird was still singing.... Very annoying.
"Although, I do look quite terrifying in battle." Rai murmured... He remembered that one time where a group of undead kidnapped one of the soul reapers and put a ransom. Rai had stormed in and destroyed them all.
"Don't we all? I'm Eliza by the way." She told him, okay that bird was really bothering her now. It's sweet song was truly sickening.
(( hfgndhfd ))
(( testing.... ))
Rai shrugged, "My real name is Rai." Rai said confidently
"Rai..." She repeated "I swear if that bird doesn't shut up I'll..." Eliza muttered the rest under her breath too quiet for him to hear. It was fluffing its wings now just looking cute. Ew. ((Poor bird... I feel bad for what's bout to happen to it. And i do not hate birds in the real world, this is just Eliza... Thought I'd put that out there haha))
Rai sighed, "don't kill the bird. Just put wax in your ears or something."
"I- fine. I won't kill the stupid, fluffy, waste to space thing you call a bird." She looked back at it again. "I hate little fluffy yellow birds." She clenched her fist wanting to kill the creature. Eliza looked back to Rai, and them down at her chest, the knife had left a thin line over near her heart, where he was slightly off. Though it would have still killed a normal Mage. The blood didn't hardly show on the blue, almost black fabric. Well, it wouldn't once she washed it. "Another scar, great."
"Well, at least you'll be able to impress a man if should you ever sleep in bed with one." Rai said.
"I-" Eliza started, what kind of comment was that? "Y-... Er.." She mummers as her face shot blood red. She clenched her fist tighter, not able to form words. The bird in turn chirped louder, as if it was mocking her.
