Kol frowned suspiciously. He kept his hand on his knife, staying in the darkest shadows of the cave. His dark blue eyes flickered over the beings in the cave, and the ones just outside the entrance, out in the light.

"Pixie.. must you insist on torturing him like this?" He put his head in his palm and took a deep calming breath. This situation was most undesirable. Hantag looked at Kol "We are like you. We are wanderers, travelers of this land. I am Hantag." He offered a handshake to the shadowy figure.
Mar. 8 at 5:55 pm
Kol hesitated for a moment, just staring at the glowing hand offered out to him. Slowly, he took it, his fingers trembling.
"Not...slave traders?" He rasped. He kept his other hand cautiously on his knife, not taking his eyes off of Hantag.

Iggy scoffed. "Uptight is what he is..." she mumbled.
Mar. 8 at 6:01 pm
"Oh, hi. Name's Rai." He smiled.
Mar. 8 at 6:03 pm
"No, we are nothing of the sort." he patted him on the shoulder, he could feel the Darkling trembling from the sun. "And as for you" he looked at Iggy, "I am not uptight. I am simply.. sensible. Now, day is upon us perhaps we had better press on, there is little of use here."
Mar. 8 at 6:04 pm
Iggy stuck her tongue out at him, but stood up, gathering her hammock. "What about Kol? Obviously, the day time isn't his best time." She said, looking to Hantag.
Mar. 8 at 6:09 pm
Kol frowned silently at the pixie. She had called herself Iggy. He backed away farther into the cave, pressing his back against the rock. She made it sound like they would be taking him with them. He fidgeted with his scarf uneasily.
Mar. 8 at 6:10 pm
"Had you better not ask him if wishes to come with us before you bring him along." Hantag asked.
Mar. 8 at 6:16 pm
"Of course. I guess I just assumed..." Iggy looked at Kol with her pale green eyes. "Would you like to accompany us on our journey, Kol?" She asked.
Mar. 8 at 6:16 pm
Kol kept playing with the end of his scarf, not taking his wary eyes from these strangers. His eyes darted from the pixie to Hantag, then back to Iggy. He looked at the other travellers, silently counting them in his head and adding up his odds if they chose to attack him. "I...I..."

((Didn't realize it hadn't posted my entire post. XP))
"I...I..." Kol shifted uneasily. It ha been so long since he had travelled with others. Usually, he was alone, always alone. Alone was safe, alone meant no one betraying him or hurting him or stealing from him. But alone was...Lonely. "Y-you would not...hurt me?" He asked in a hoarse whisper.
Mar. 8 at 7:15 pm
"What do we look like to you, vampires?" Sera asked lightly. "Of course we wouldn't hurt you, but I guess you have no reason to believe us." She shrugged and started cutting up the rabbit. "Breakfast is ready." She added, taking a rabbit leg for herself and stepping back, tearing into the meat.
Mar. 8 at 7:15 pm
"Even if I wanted to," Iggy said, "I'm kind of weak. But, hey, don't worry. If you travel with us, you're one of us and we don't hurt each other." She threw him a dazzling smile as a friendly gesture.
Mar. 8 at 7:18 pm
Kol just stared at them silently for a moment before meshing into the shadows again. He had taken his hand from his knife though, before he faded into darkness.
Mar. 8 at 7:21 pm
Iggy shrugged and turned to Sera. She scrunched her nose slightly at the rabbit, but took a piece anyway. "I'm not really a fan of rabbit, but... Food is food." she said, taking a bite.
Mar. 8 at 7:30 pm
Kol watched for a while as a shadow before sliding back out. He stayed in the darkness, twisting the ends of his scarf in his hands, silently an carefully making sure it covered his scar.
Mar. 8 at 7:32 pm
Iggy chewed thoughtfully and watched Kol with unmoving green eyes.
Mar. 8 at 7:36 pm
"Care for some rabbit?" Hantag asked Kol. He looked weak from the suns rays.
Mar. 8 at 7:36 pm
Kol could feel Iggy's eyes on him, and he squirmed a little, turning away, trying to ignore it. He brought his hands up to the burns on his skin, flinching as he touched them. He reached into the pouch that hung from his belt, clumsily pulling out the jar of salve he kept for day burns.
