"Jericho" Hantag said sternly. "Now is not the time to hold back information. What did they say?" He said, getting more apprehensive by the minute.
Kol blinked in confusion, peeking out at them all from under his hammock. He noted with even more confusion that Nyla was missing. He stayed silent, but he pressed his lips together and tilted his head to the side, a questioning look on his face.
Iggy watched with wide eyes. It sounded scary and dangerous. Two things that being so little and helpless as she was, Iggy was very uncomfortable with.
Kol shivered a little, despite the sun's heat. Something in the air did not feel right, something felt off. And the way the others were talking. What had he missed while he was asleep? An Nyla was missing. What was going on? He blinked slowly.
Nyla still lay, silent, still fading in and out of physical existance as the energy of the force field tugged at her life sources. The force field was taking her own strength and energy and using it to strengthen itself, the barrier had a mind and intention of its own and mercy was not part of its plan.
Kol tugged the hammock tighter around him, taking a deep breath and gathering enough courage to speak.
"What's going on?" He finally rasped. He squinted out into the brightness, searching for Nyla. Was she hiding? Where was she? Did they do something to her? Were they planning something? What was going on? He curled in on himself protectively, confused.
