"Onyx. Just call me Onyx. That's good to start out with," he smiled and laughed, buttoning the black peacoat's buttons, grabbing his bag and leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
Kai follows, her hair falling into her eyes. "Onyx... I like that. It fits, in it's own way," she murmurs, nodding.
Onyx smiled. His long hair flowed out from behind him, as he had let it down earlier. "Uhmm. I have to stop at my place real quick to change.... Is that all right?" He opened the door for her.
Kai steps through, pulling her thin velvet jacket closer to her body. "Yeah, that's fine. No one is going to be home to wonder why I'm not there yet."
Onyx only smiled. He led them to a small black, compat car, unlocked the doors and got in.
Kai gets in, settling her backpack in her lap and braiding her bangs nervously. "I'll probably need a ride tomorrow morning... We can just say we're cousins or something in anyone asks..."
"No problemo," Onyx pulls out, heading for his condo. "So, you sure you're ok... with... us?"
"Of course I'm okay with it!" Kai says, glancing over and frowning. "Why wouldn't I be? You're the one person not related to me that I've actually felt like I could trust."
"I'm not quite sure, but I think most people would be freaked out if their teacher suddenly wanted a relationship." Onyx rambled and pulled into a small neighbor hood and parked infront of a small condo.
"Yes, well... I'm not like most people. Go on and change. I can wait out here, unless you'd rather I don't." Kaira shrugs slightly, twisting a strand of hair around her finger.
