Alyssa couldn't take the silence any more. She grabbed her bag and left the coffee shop. Where should she go now? It was a nice day outside. Maybe she'd just walk and wander her way around NYC.
((Ok Alyssa=Athena and Belle=Aphrodite))
Ryder saw the girl blush and he knew, right then, that she was Aphrodite. He winked at her, giving her his best charming smile. Something he only ever used on Aphrodite.
Allison looked around the shop once more. She didn't want to go home. Home was boring and dirty because she was never there to clean. She looked for a familiar face, hoping she'd find someone from her past life.
((Ryder is Ares and Allison is Artemis))
Belle felt shocked. The boy had winked at her...just like Ares used to. Was it possible that he was here too? She got up and walked over to his table. "Excuse me, but do we know each other?" she asked him.
Ryder looked at her with his golden eyes, the only feature he still had from his past life. "You seem pretty familiar." he said, staring into her eyes.
"Yeah you do too. May I sit down?" Belle asked, her eyes never leaving the boy who might be Ares. "Have you ever been to Greece?" She asked slyly. In the case that he wasn't really Ares, she wouldn't be giving anything away. But if he was, he would understand.
Alyssa just strolled outside. Then she noticed a face. A face just like Artemis's....was it possible? "Excuse me," she said, pushing through the crowd. She scanned the seemingly infinite sea of people, but the giel who looke like Artemis was gone from her sight.
((Sweet! Thanks guys. Anna is Hera if thats alright ))
Anna looked back around the shop, she had the strangest feeling she and Aphrodite weren't the only gods from Mt. Olympus. Still she couldn't tell, so she pulled her newsapaper out again, resigned to wait and try to figure out this crazy idea of human effect of the climate.
Ares smiled, "I'm from Greece actually. Haven't been home in a long while though." There was no doubt in his mind that this was her. He leaned back in his chair.
Belle's face erupted into a smile. She leaned forward. "Ares?" She whispered. She still was surprised he was here. But this had to be him. There was no one else it could be!
Allison sat on the curb, not even bothering to call cab. There was no point when she had no where to go and no one to meet. She missed the gods and godesses. Even the ones she hadn't been completely fond of.
"Aphrodite?" he asked, quietly and slyly, not answering her question directly.
"Depends whose asking," Belle answered back. They'd always used teased each other...strange since he was the god of war and she was well...not the smartest. But it was just the way they were.
Rai had heard some guy announce he was Ares. Rai got up and headed towards his table, "are you really Ares?"
Ryder looked at the guy who had just asked him if he was Ares and then looked back at Aphrodite, "This will answer your question, sweetheart. Yes, I am the god of war."
Anna's head jerked up slightly, the guy who had been talking to Aphrodite seemed to have just said something about war. Ares, she whispered under her breath, though from across the room she couldn't be sure. And the man who had just walked over to that table had a family resemblance to someone she knew all too well. Not, Zues, no, but maybe Poseidon?
Rai chuckled, "and I'm the god of the sea."
Belle smiled at Ares. It was all she could do not to scowel at the boy who interrupted them. "Then yes, I am Aphrodite," she said back. "But I haven't used that name in a while. I go by Belle here."
