"Yes, sir." Rebel said, unsure of how this was going to prove anything,
"I think that the guard is saying there was no evidence that Remi didn't invite Drax in or something like that..." Rebel said, the argument sounded stupid to him, really stupid, but it what he guessed that the gaurd was trying to explain. For Rebel it just mean the 'higher ups' were intervening for someone they thought wuld make a good soldier and not really caring becuase they 'victim' they thought didn't need protecting becuase she wans't going to be a good asoldier, if she was a good soldier she wouldn't have been in this situation in teh first place. At least that what Rebel guessed the 'higher ups' thought.
He shook his head. "I saw it though. She was scared; terrified." He turned to him. "Did you not see her tears?"
"I didn't see her crying I saw her after she'd been crying and had her clean her face." Rebel explained, "Look Id on't agree with what the higher ups did I'm just saying what the soldier said and what I think was implied, I think t's stupid, but I'm not the one making the descion." Rebel finished, he sighed adn looked at the watch on his hand, the lecture was over, it was lunch time, he guessed Drax had missed the lecture,
"We should head to the mess hall, sir and supervise our recruits." he suggested, hsi voice had never changed from it's curt, deep, rough military style of speaking. He honestly wanted to get out of teh women's restroom, eh didn't want to be caught standing around and staring intoa women's shower even though it was empty.
Remi stood up after the lecture and headed for the mess hall. Her small note book adn pencil were in her pocket. She put ehr cover on as she walked across the courtyrad back to the barracks building which held the mess hall adn lseeping quarters of tehr ecruits, along with a first aide sation and otehr things nessicary for a recruits life.
He nodded and exited the room.
Remi took her tray from the lunch workers, today was hot dogs, saurkraut, beans, and an apple. She went and sat where she normall did, not in the corner, but near a window. PUtting her tary down she stood at attention behind her seat, waiting for permission to sut, everyoen else was standing to, just like her. They were waiting for eother Harlow or Rebel to give the word to sit adn eat.
Rebel walked intothe cafeteria, he scanned it and found Remi where she normally was, he kept searching the room for Drax and also loking for recruits who werne't doing the right thing.
Harlow stood before the soldiers. "Every one sit..." He began. "... except Drax."
Remi sat down and satrted to eat, not looking in teh direction that Harlow had commanded Drax to not sit. She ate slowly, unlik ethe people on either side of her who wolfed their food down, meal times were some of the only times you socialized with people, unless a free time was declared, which was rare. She could hear people talking quetly amongest each other, but most people were looking towards Drax.
He remained standing, seeming un-embarrassed. "Yes sir?" Harlow glared at him. "Come here, soldier."
Remi continued to keep her eyes on her tray though everyone else was looking at Drax, watching what was about to happen, by now everyone knew what had happened n the showers. Most people seemed to hate adn scourn Remi for being weak and not fighting back or screaming, though she guessed there was some pity, she didn't want pity.
Drax did so. "Yes si-" Harlwo scuffed his jaw and DRax flew to the side, dazed as blood trickled from his lip. Harlow, moved his foot up, kicking him to the ground and getting down on the floor, dousing him with punches.
Rebel jumped fprward and grabbed Harlow's amr,
"Sir, what are you doing?" he hissed. The whole room had gone perfectly silent and were staring at the bleeding Drax and at Harlow and Rebel.
Remi ducked her head even more, not looking at Harlow beating Drax up.
"He may not get punishment, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it." He stated angrily, standing up and marching out.
Rebel grabbed Drax arm and pushed him over to his seat,
"Eat." he ordered. THe room erupted in whispered conversations some people laughed at Drax other glared at Remi like it was her fault.
Drax spat to the floor, glaring at Rebel and returnig to his seat, slowly eating.
Remi finished her food and pushed her tray aside, waiting for the rest of the recruits to be done with lunch. There were night missions tonight, she hoped they'd be able to keep her attention and get her mind off today, unless of course Drax was on her mision team, he'd be a team leader probably, he usaully was for teams becuase he was such a 'good soldier'.
Rebel stood up form hsi finished meal,
"ALRIGHT MOVE IT MOVE IT MOVE IT!" he shouted he was still in hsi dres uniform so eh didn't yelled he walked quickly down teh ailses between seats,
"EVERYBODY ON YOUR FEET! CLEAR YOUR SPOTS!" he yelled, "FALL IN OUTSIDE WHERE YOU NORMALLY DO!!!" he shouted, "NOW MOVE IT MOVE IT MOVE IT, NOW, NOW, NOW!!!!!!" he screamed.
Remi jumped up and ran grabbing ehr tray headed for the trash area, you weren't allowed to run in dress grays so she just walked quickly, she got in the line waiting to put theri trays up and throw their trash away.
"MOVE IT RECRUITS!!!!!!" Rebel yelled, hsi spit shined blac shoes clacking against the tile as he walked upa dnd own the line.
Drex was quick to Rebels orders.
((Ya sure XD))
It night, after dinner, time for bed. It was probably around 9:00 PM or 2100 hours on military time. Remi lay in bed, trying to get to sleep, it was about three hours until midnight, when they'd be dragged out for night missions. Remi was having a hard time getting to sleep, she heard other recruits sleeping around her, but she just couldn't close her eyes with out seeing Drax on tp of her in teh shower.
Drax jumped hey, sitting on get to not get get to breath.
((all get a are her))
