I'm really bored, anybody up for an RP? I'm good with anything except romance, I don't do any romance at all. So yeah, just wonderin'.
I would love too. :) I'm not a fan of romance myself. What do you have in mind?
I like that kind of thing too. :)
Not quite yet. I have a few half baked ones. Can I get back to you on that after piano practice?
Okay. I'm back. Much sooner than expected, but I'm not complaining. :) Anyway, I have an idea.
It's a little long, but here it goes. *clears throat*
It is the year 3258. The world is being torn apart by war, the worst and bloodiest ever seen.
In this war torn world, any opportunity is seized, any chance at having the upper hand is leaped on. It is a fight for survival, a struggle for power.
In this struggle, anything is fair game. Including human experimentation in an attempt to breed a super soldier. Many try and few succeed. Most of the failed attempts find themselves tossed aside in a place known simply as the Wilds, a dumping ground for all unwanted experiments.
Our story follows a pair of the unlucky ones left to fend off experimental monsters in these Wilds. Using powers given to them by experiments, and their wits, they must work together to find a way to escape the Wilds and make their way to the relative safety of the Outside.
Sorry it's so long. :P
Name and experiment number:
Power or mutation:
((Okey dokey. ^-^))
Name and experiment number: Sprint 2198
Appearance: Very small, short, and scrawny. Has very pale skin and pale gray eyes. His dark brown hair is grown out shaggy. Wears a much, much too big black and gray uniform that is patched and worn and ripped all over. Has thin, neat scars all over his back and a tattoo with the number 2198 on his chest. Looks much younger than he really is.
Personality: Sprint is a very nervous, flighty person. Being physically weak, he is very cautious by nature. He is mostly silent, preferring to let actions speak rather than his words. Very jumpy and somewhat un-trusting.
Power or mutation: Sprint was bred for speed. He can run at extremely high speeds, higher than should be capable. His speed is only good in short bursts. He has very little stamina.
((Perfect. :) Do Sprint and Merge know each other before our story begins, or do they meet up?))
((Okay. :) ))
Sprint could feel, rather than hear, the deep bone rattling thrum of the transport craft from his perch high in the tree. He stayed completely still, clinging tightly to his tree branch.
A transport meant new arrivals.
He pressed himself against the trunk of the tree as the thrum began to fade.
New arrivals meant new dangers.
He stayed up in his tree for another moment, just sitting still. Then, he hurried to scramble down, darting off.
Sprint watched the new arrivals silently from his new perch, high up on a rock formation. He was still breathing hard from his run to get to the top, but he stayed completely silent, trying to gauge the newcomers.
Hm...That one looks dangerous, best steer clear..Him too..And that one..
As he made the mental notes in his head, his eyes flicked over a particularly little and scrawny shape. He narrowed his eyes, leaning forward a little to get a better look.
Sprint finally looked away as they began to split apart. He started to climb down carefully, jogging slowly back towards his hideout, glancing over his shoulder to make sure he wasn't being followed back to his cave home by anyone. Or anything.
Splint moved slowly, still feeling the effects of his previous run. He kept glancing nervously over his shoulder, constantly tensed, ready to flee.
Finally, still breathing heavily, he slid back into his cave home, squeezing past the small, tight entrance. He was just big enough to fit, his faded patched and worn uniform being scraped on the rock as he slipped into the coolness of the cave.
Sprint moved to the very far end of his little cave home without a pause. He knew this place well enough to traverse it blindfolded. He walked back where he kept his little water storage. He gingerly picked up one of the battered canisters to take a few careful sips before setting it down.
Sprint sighed and wiped his mouth, straightening up and turning around. He jolted and leaped back with a yelp when he saw another figure in his cave with him, even though he had tried to make sure he hadn't been followed. He pressed his back against the wall, his eyes widening with panic. He braced himself to be attacked by the tiny, scrawny figure, bringing his arms up to his face.
Sprint cringed at the sound of the voice, expecting to be jumped on at any second. He waited and waited, squeezing his eyes shut and bracing himself for pain.
But it never came.
Slowly, cautiously, he opened his eyes to get a better look at his intruder, still keeping himself pressed against the cave wall.
"Wh-who are you?" He stammered in a quiet, fear filled whisper. "Don't hurt me."
Sprint didn't move, still staring at this strange intruder. It was a girl, a scrawny little scrap of a child. She didn't look like she would be able to hurt him much.
But many of the most dangerous things in this place looked weak and helpless, luring you in.
"S-Sprint." He pressed even farther against the wall. "Y-you can take the water...a-and I have food further back...Just don't hurt me."
Sprint just stared fearfully, his eyes wide as he watched his water supply disappear into this stranger's mouth. He slowly scooted away, keeping his eyes locked on her.
"Th-there. Will you leave me a-alone now?" He asked in a tiny voice.
Sprint blinked at her in confusion. He kept scooting back. His hands trembled a little. He was starting to reach the entrance of his cave.
"I-I..I-I don't u-understand." He mumbled. "B-but you can take the f-food and water if you'll just leave me alone." He said quietly, gesturing to the back of the cave.
Sprint silently squeezed out of the entrance, moving quickly. He held his arms out in front of his chest protectively, hurrying to move out of the girl's way. He backed away as far as he could without backing into a tree or a bush.
