He smiled at her as she kissed his neck. It was distracting, to say the least, but he did t mind. He somehow managed to think. "It's supposed to be a special thing you do very much alone..." He mumbled. "There's an old neighborhood I used to play in when I was little... The whole thing was abondoned, and there was a specific house. A dark blue Victorian style house."
"Then what are we standing here for?" Liz asked then started to work on his neck once more. She was starting to combine a bit of sucking in with her kisses to create a mark.
Jason breathed a little deeper at her kisses and started off towards the neighborhood. It wasn't too long before he set her down on the long wrap around porch and unlocked the door with a key from under the floorboards.
Liz wrapped her arms around his waist as he unlocked the door. She traced small patterns as she waited. The house was truly beautiful. It's blue color didn't look cheep. It looked elegant with the wrap porch. ....Perfect.
He pushed the door open and turned to grab her hand, a loving smile on his face. He pulled her into the house and shut the door behind them. the house was pretty nice inside, but he didn't stand there andadmire it. He was leading her up the stairs to the bedroom.
Liz didn't even give the house a glance. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. She let him show her the way up the stairs to the bedroom though for some strange reason she felt she knew where it was.
Jason brought her to a room at the very end of the hall, a big airy room in all its victorian glory with a four poster bed and all that. He placed a kiss on her hand before moving to the large windows and shutting the curtains. He came back and pulled her into his arms with a spin, kissing her lips tenderly.
Liz kissed him lovingly till a thought came to her mind. "Am I expected to kill you?" She asked then that triggered a thought. His little demon mate had almost liked him earlier... She would only do that right after... No... He just said he wanted to be with her, surly he wouldn't... Not right after... Would he?
(( *facepalm* oh god... This can only end badly. May the force be with you, Jason. ))
Jason pulled back slightly. "Oh, right." He cansidered it a moment, trying to figure out if they'd get the law after em. "No, you aren't a demon, so our laws don't really apply to you," he said. That triggered a thought. If his laws didn't apply to her, than neither did their promises. He was in a contract with her, as her lifetime mate, but she wasn't technically his. She could go off and be with someone else and not be breaking the promise. He decided to force this thought down and keep it to himself. It's not that he didn't trust her, it just depressed him.
"Then the entire contract... It's a demon contract?" Liz asked. "Oh and how was your morning before lover girl almost killed you?" Liz added casualy; as if it was nothing.
Jason tensed a bit, pulling back significantly more. Had…was…did she just threatened him... He prayed that this wasn’t going where he thought it was, but he was smart enough to read between the lines. Maybe he was wrong in his previous thought, to put complete trust… “Y-yes…it applies t-to…demons…o-only…” he stammered under his breath. He opened and shut his mouth stupidly before deciding he couldn’t form words to answer her other question.
"Oh...." Was all Liz could say before she tilted her head slightly to the side waiting for the answer to his next question. She wouldn't leave him. Ever. Didn't matter if she could or not.
“It was…er…painful…she poisoned me…” Jason managed. Yeah, he had mated with Rosalyn. He didn’t exactly have a choice. He needed her to believe that he was 100% loyal in order for his plan to work. Well, maybe not that—but he needed to stall before the creature awoke. That meant…you know. He didn’t exactly want to talk about it with Liz. It was awkward, and he was freaked out.
Liz decided not to press it. She knew what happened. "But the contract... I'm not tied to you in any way?" She asked. "Like it doesn't work? So you are not tied to me?" She asked again wondering if he was thinking of leaving her. Or if why he was so upset when she kissed him if it didn't count.
“No… you aren’t…” Jason said quietly. “The contract applies to me, because I’m a demon. Because you aren’t, it doesn’t apply to you…and you can’t make a demon contract, either. The only reason I felt it form back by the river was…” he trailed off.
((So he is in the contract with her? But not her with him? I'm confused. Lol))
Liz tilted her head to the other side. "Was what?" She asked softly.
(( Yeah. He’s her mate for life, so he can’t kiss or be with anyone else and has to protect her, but she could go on and be with someone else. ))
Jason bit his lip, not sure he wanted to go on after she had just kind of threatened to leave him. “…the demon is the only one who can make a contract… the only reason why I received the contract mark by the river, when you kissed me… was because…even though I wanted you to stay away… to protect you…I still…I…wanted the promise to be formed…” his words became quieter with each passing second.
((That's so cute!!!!! Your lucky I'm a nice person or I'd so use that to be mean to him.))
Liz steped closer to him pulling him into a hug. "I'd never leave you. I love you." She whispered noting how this seemed to effect him. Did he really think she would leave him?
Liz pulled back to look into Nathanael's eyes "You are mine, by law........ I'm yours, by choice."
((Heart melting yet?))
((Jason. Crap. Messed up. So sorry!!!!))
((*** Jason. Why am I messing that up?!?!?! Aghhhh))
