“Don’t play dumb,” he muttered. “The whole idea of your rhyme proves it. An angel is forbidden to accept, or really even interact with, anything evil. So, by getting an angel to love you, it proves that you are pure enough to have the vampire bond broken. For the love to hold any meaning, the angel must be pure. And seeing as fallen angels are barely better than vampires, it wouldn’t work.”
"I don't agree, I think it's the entire consept of having anything love you. Having a angel good or bad fall for a lifeless creature. Can't you just try?" Darcy tried to sit up on the bed but can't fing the stringth.
He crossed his arms. “I’m a fallen angel. I don’t think it will work, and I’m not wasting my time. So, no.”
((Fell asleep! Sorry!))
"Mmmm a fallen angel.... s.exy" Darcy purred her hair falling into her eyes covering part of her face.
((Don't worry about it. I've fallen asleep mid-post a few times this week. Anyway, I'll be on and off today. ))
"Don't toy with me," he growled. "It's a sensitive subject." This was ridiculous. Even stretching the truth like that, she still wasn't letting up. He grabbed th covers and tossed them over her, simultaneously getting up to leave. He wasn't going to admit that she was attractive, in a sultry sort of way. "I have to get back to heaven," he muttered.
"I'm not toying. I'm dead serious." Darcy admitted. "So what do you think about me?" She purred. "Come on, just say it."
"I think you're annoying," he said instantly. "Annoying and persistent, like a fruit fly. There, I said it. Happy now?"
"Thrilled. But that wasn't what I was asking, I want to know what you think about how I look. Am I not beautiful enough for you? Am I not se.xy enough Dark Angel?" Darcy purred. She was about to break. Why didn't he like her?
"Quit calling me dark angel," he muttered. "I told you it was a sensitive subject." He really needed to get back. He couldn't give them any reason to investigate and find out the truth. He had spent too long perfecting his act. He had invested too much time to get thrown out of heaven now. "You look fine, I guess. Typical vampire girl. But you must think me pretty shallow to believe that would be enough to gain my love." He shook his head. "You should find a different angel."
"I don't. But I thought it might be enough to let you give me a chance." Darcy closed her eyes. "I was hoping..." She touched her dry eye, she had never cried before. She didn't think she could.
Turning away from her, Nathaniel looked up and closed his eyes. Don’t do it. You’ll regret it later. You regret saving her, don’t you? This will be so much worse than that. He swore softly under his breath. He ran a hand through his hair. He flicked his wings irritably. Don’t you dare do it. Suddenly, he turned and said: “When you stupidly collided with that tree, what were you running from?”
"Ummmm it's kinda stupid..." Darcy started "I was running from the police for breaking into the zoo..." Her face turned red as she admited that she was fighting lions then drinking lion blood. "It's ummm more human?" She looked away hiding her face, hearing no noise other than his voice.
Nathaniel was extremely happy that she hid her face from him. Otherwise, she would’ve seen his face and deduced that there was more than distaste and distain in him. He bit his lip slightly, considering the little scheme flopping around in his brain. He liked seeing her embarrassed, it proved that she wasn’t a manipulative, emotionless shell after all. The story proved that she hadn’t planned this all from the beginning. He admitted, to himself, that she was a little cute. A little. He laughed at her before whipping away all emotion, besides amusement in the form of a sarcastic-looking smirk.
"Da.mn you really are a dark angel. You know i try ti be nice but you make it really hard. Why couldn't I run into a nice one? But maybe.... Are you aware that there is another way to cute me other than the poem? I can just suck you dry. Drinking all the blood of 3 angels works just as well. I tried to be moral about this. I couldn't just kill you after you saved me..." Darcy felt like a fool. Why did she get herself into this? She let her one eye not covered in hair meet his. Why was he so hot?
He laughed at her once again. “Good luck getting another two angels to come anywhere near you. Most aren’t as stupid as I was,” he stopped. “Oh, you were going to kill me? Who’s the incapacitated one currently unable to even roll off the bed? Oh yeah, you. I’d say I have the upper hand. Your threats are a little useless at the moment,” his smirk turned dark.
"How the he.ll are you so sexy Dark Angel? And I'm not threatening you. I'm not going to kill you. I can't. And if I could I still wouldn't. I like you too much... You interest me." Darcy smiled. "You have no idea how attractive dark angels are to me do you? If you want me gone playing mean won't work."
(( For the record, it says you posted, but I cannot see it. You may have to retype that last one. ))
((*notices post didn't post 20 min ago burst into sobs* ))
"God why are you so se.xy Dark Angel?" Darcy groaned "and it wasn't a threat. I'm not going to kill you. I can't. And if I could I wouldn't. You interest me. You are differan... And are all angels that s.exy? Or is it just the fallen ones? Or just you?"
((My phone hates me.))
(( XD ))
Nathaniel couldn’t help but chuckle at that. “Do you really want to know? It’s me. Unless you consider disgusted scowls and disfiguring scars se.xy.” He ran a hand through his hair and looked at her mischievously. “And as to why… I would imagine it’s for this very moment. You come here trying to get my love…and end up falling for me yourself. Oh, irony.”
