Ness nodded she turned and looked around. "yep. whats a young man such as yourself doing out here?"
"Ah, right. I come here often when I'm nervous. As you can see, there's a strip right here where the grass has died down. That's from me pacing hered so much." Riley sighed.
Ness nodded. "i see. well i best be off. se you around.' she said. she turned around and was starting to walk off.
"Wait..." Riley bit his lip. He had a weird feeling about this girl...an odd tingling. "We've only just met. You're leaving so soon?"
Ness turned to face him. "i guess i can stay a while." she told him. there was afelling about him. something that attracted her to him.
Riley gestured to a bench. "Wanna sit?" He asked softly, a bit timmidly. He wasn't that confident.
Ness giggled. "sure. so... tell me about yourself." she told him . she sat down and looked into his eyes.
The feeling got a bit stronger, and Riley blushed slightly, looking away. "Er...well...My name is Riley, I'm seventeen. I've lived in this town all my life."
Ness blushed. "I guess its only fair to tell my part too. Im Ness. Im 16 and i've been raised in this town and travel at times."
"Strange...I don't think I've actually ever seen you..." Riley commented.
Ness looked at her hands that were on her lap. "ummm.... I just moved back here two monthes ago. I started traveling out at night a while back. like a week ago. "
Riley shrugged. "Well it's nice to meet you Ness." He said warmly.
Ness looked up and smiled "nice to meet you too. ohh. i forgot to ask do you go to school around here?"
Riley nodded. "Yeah, I go to the highschool down the street. Why?" He asked.
She looked into his eyes. "just asking. i need to sign into a school and i thought it be best to sign into a school where i atleast have one friend"
Riley smiled at her. "Is that so?" He asked.
Ness nodded. "perhaps you can show me around. things sure have changed while i was gone"
Riley shrugged. "Sure, I'd love to. Just let me know when." He felt so weird about her. Drawn to her, but at the same time, something in him was afraid of her.
Ness smiled. a shiver went down her spine when a breeze came. she had left her jacket at home.
