"Yeah, well, I'm not seeing a worse here." Riley muttered. "Besides the meant to kill vampires thing..."
Ness sighed."but I would never let them hurt you. "
"You're not making sense to me, Ness. It's like we're having two different conversations." Riley muttered.
Ness sighed and got up. "I should be getting home" she said. She started to walk back to her house. "Goodbye Riley."
"Wait." Riley caught her hand and pulled her to him, kissing her. "I...I don't feel comfortable leaving things like this..."
Ness kissed him back. "nor do I. But what shall we do. I can't Just stay home, while Mitch is out there somewhere. I have to Go stay elsewhere safe" she said pouting.
"Come to my house." Riley mumbled.
"you sure?" she asked. She leaned into his side for some warmth.
"My parents are away, and my sister is staying with her friend while they're away. No one will bother us." Riley told her.
Ness looked at the ground as she blushed. "ok." she said yawning. " what do you want to do now?"
Riley shrugged. "Go home, get something to eat."
Ness nodded. She grabbed and held his hand.
Riley led her back home, walking close to her.
Ness kept her head down as they walked. "Im really sorry."
Riley put an arm around her. "Don't...it's over now..."
Ness leaned into his side for warmth again. "but..."
"No buts, it's over." Riley said sternly.
Ness sighed and nodded. She began to feel weak and dizzy. "riley.... I dont feel good.." she said. In seconds, she was on the ground unconcious.
Riley lifted her up in his arms and carried her home. He laid her on the couch and waited patiently, unsure what to do.
Ness woke several hours later. "ugh...."
