The Boarding House (Ded. Mat. 1x1)

Dedicated: Please do not join if you will not be on regularly.
Mature: This is intended to hold mature romance. I tend to be as mature as whoever I'm with, but things are permitted to get as detailed and mature as you like.
Also note: There will be several characters, and chances for several different lines of romances and love triangles. You will be playing more than one character.
Lastly: This is originally a 1x1, however, a third or even fourth person may be accepted.

Story
A young woman (In her twenties) with the very simple last name of Smith, inherrited a large mansion out in the country, miles from the nearest 'neighbor'. Mrs. Smith, to avoid being alone, turned her mansion into a boarding house nearly as soon as she was left without family. The guests she accepted into her home are no ordinary people, however. Although this is modern times and fantasy creatures supposedly don't exist, they secretly do.
Nearly anything you can imagine -that can at least pretend to be human- lives here. Mrs. Smith started out oblivious to the fact that none of her guests were human, but over time she became aware. Now, she only accepts the fantasy creatures to stay in her home. It has been 4 years since she first opened her doors.

Make as many characters as you'd like and we can make characters as we go along. It may be best for us to go ahead and make everyone in the house and say that either of us can play them at any point to help the story, but I'd like opinion on that thought. So then, anyone wanna give this a try?

Care to do another one with me?

Species: Dark Elf (Night Elf)

Description: Heightened intellect and some magic.  She’s vulnerable to bright light and iron.

Name: Xenia Noiren

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Straight black hair reaching the small of her back; it has a single white streak on the side.  Olive green eyes with flecks of yellow and silver.  Tall and slim, hourglass figure, fair skin, double piercing on her earlobe.  She has a tattoo of a raven holding a bloody dagger on her back.

Personality: Can be moody.  Not in touch with nature, in fact most plants die if she touches them.  Quiet, mistrustful, comparable to poison, easily irritated and embarrassed if someone outwits or defeats her.  She’s prideful, mildly arrogant, kind to those who really get to know her, very coldhearted to those who don’t. It can be difficult to get through her walls.  She doesn’t always get sarcasm and takes things too seriously at times.

Stay: Almost a week, but she hasn't interacted with the others that much. Nothing beyond a few sentences.

I don't mind at all! Glad you're joining me! Also, just saying, I'm kind of picturing it that most of the guests in the house are pretty nocturnal. Who should play Mrs. Smith?

Eh, nocternal guests seem kind of fitting in our case.  I'll edit that part of charie #1.  As far as who plays Mrs. Smith, I could go either way.  I haven't multi-tasked with more than three characters at a time, so we'll see how it ends up :)

Well considering I left ideas of where this story should go, I consider I might take Mrs. Smith so it's a little more control, considering she is the authority in the house. As far as guests go, I was thinking at least seven, but maybe more.

In that case, I leave Mrs. Smith to you.  To begin, we could each have four characters.  I will have four guests, you will have three and Mrs. Boss.  Unless you want to make four guests yourself, of course.

No, I think keeping it to even numbers in overall characters is good. Before we make any more character though, we should work out what species and who gets what so we have good...variety. Of course, we could pull a a pair of twins or something somewhere, you take one and I take the other or one of us play both.

As far as twins go, I feel it’s more interesting for them to be played by separate people.  I have my elf, so I’m pretty much fine with any other species I end up with.  A quick Google search is all I need.

Well sticking to the most common stuff and altering them to our liking, in example vampire and werewolf, would be good. We could also do fairy, not like in our other RP but human sized and stuff. With the twin idea, I think either vampire or werewolf would be best.

As long as you're okay with mature romances, Sorla, sure!

I’m dropping my character count to three for the time being, then.  I’m thinking male vampire, and either male or female angel. (keeps wings concealed under a coat when not in the house)

Oh darn you, Xenolith! I was gonna make an angel! :P Oh! What if we had identical angel twins?

Hahaha! Should’ve called it.  No, I’m kidding.  Angel twins sound great.  What do you think about identical twins, with completely and entirely different personalities?  Or we could just make them and see how it turns out.

I think we should make them completely identical, and then after I see yours I'll build mine's personality off of hers. It'll either be something of oposite or something of similarity, depending.

Sounds good.  A few questions, though.  What gender, and should they be normal, or elemental type angels?  There’s always fallen too.  Although, I already have a darker character.

Hmm...it could be elemental types, although weaker. I really like taking inspiration from already made creatures and running away with my own ideas. I mean, look at my fairies...

I think female is good, and it might be that mine has black wings of a darker angel and yours white of more purity.

I quite like your fairies, Sable is just awesome.  My thing is I usually make odd personalities.  More bad traits than good and spin them positively.  If not, they usually have some weird conflict going on.
Anyway, I’m thinking a freckled redhead fire-angel or an all-white air one.

Ok, I'll take three characters, two brothers and a female dearg-due

Do what you want. I'm not picky and I'm really just gonna build mine however I feel best would work with yours.
