"I hope that's not for drinking? I'm not much of a drinker," Salia said. She turned from the window to look at him. "Intriging. I came to a total strager's house. So, Pretty boy, what's your name?"
"Jasper. And no, this is not for drinking." He set everything down on the coffee table and gestured to the couch. "Want me to help you, or can you bandage up yourself?"
Salia looked down at her injured arm and frowned. The blood dried but it still hurt. She shook her head to clear it. "You can do it. I doubt I'd reach it. I'm flexible, just not that flexible." She walked over to the couch and sat down and waited for him to bandage her up.
"Ah. Alright then." Pouring a little alcohol onto a washcloth, he knelt in front of her, and smiled apologetically. "This might hurt, okay? I'm sorry if it does." He took her arm gently and very carefully began cleaning the dried blood away.
Salia bit her lip and tasted copper. She busted her lip but continued to bite down on it. She tried not to move but her arm jerked back involuntarily. "Sorry," she said and moved her arm back so he could continue.
"You're bleeding again?" Jasper said incredulously as he noticed her lip. Sighing, he softly brushed the blood away from her mouth, shaking his head. "Crazy girl."
Salia winced. "Sorry, I bite my lip to stop from screaming in pain." She flicked her tongue out to get the blood she could feel seeping out of her lip again. "Almost done Pretty Boy?" she asked and glanced at his hands then his eyes.
"Almost." With her arm now clean, Jasper began carefully wrapping it. "I knew it would hurt, but not that bad," he murmured as he finished up.
"Yeah, sometimes things that seem so minor can cause a lot of pain," she whispered. She glanced down at her arm and bit her lip but not out of pain. She was pondering something.
Jasper nodded in agreement. "One of those stupid parts of life, I guess. Ah, there, all done." He set her arm back in her lap and glanced back up at her. "Don't chew your lip off," he muttered, frowning slightly. "You've already made it bleed."
She stopped. "It's my lip," she mumbled and poked out her lip slightly. "Thank you Jasper." She looked down at her bandaged arm.
Jasper nodded, putting everything back in it's box before standing up. "No problem." He ran a hand through his hair, feeling a little awkward suddenly; what was he to do with a girl sitting on his couch?
"Not to be a mucher or nothing, but considering you brought me here and was joking about being Prince Charming, are you or can you feed me Pretty Boy?" She cocked her head to the side and peered at him with puppy dog green orbs.
He had to smile at that, but he kept his eyes away from hers. She looked too cute like that. "Well, unfortunately, I can't cook much besides a poptart, so you're out of luck there." He forced himself to look at her finally. "But, if you'd like, I'm perfectly willing to order-in, or take you out. I mean, unless you want a poptart..."
"And ruin this figure?" She spun a 360° before speaking againg. "Take-Out is fine. Can we get Chinese?" She makes another puppy dog face and pushes out her bottom lip slightly.
"That's fine," he muttered, turning quickly so he wouldn't have to see her face as he went to grab his wallet off the kitchen counter. "I can go get it, or we both can, or whatever... Up to you."
She thought about it but when she was about to speak, a yawn interrupted her speech. "Mind if I stay and catch up on some sleep?" She questioned.
He laughed a little and nodded. "That's fine. Here, I'll show you where the bed is..." he murmured, gesturing for her to follow him as he began down the hallway.
Salia followed him down the hall careful not to bump her arm. Hus place isn't great but its not bad either.
He opened the door to his bedroom and led her inside. "Again, simple, because I'm hardly ever here." And simple it was; there was only a bed, a dresser, and a bedside table with a lamp on it. "But there's the bed. Have fun."
