So this is a rough idea. I don't know if I want this to be a 1x1 or a small RP. Either way, I want someone I'm familiar with in either area. There may be romance included, but it's completely optional, and I only do mature romances with 1x1s usually.
Here's the idea. Have a world of inhuman creatures, possibly monsters, living in a realm parallel to our own. A human somehow gets into this world by accident, and now are at risk of being captured, tortured, killed, and devoured if they don't get back to their own home in time. The problem is they don't know how to get back and can't on their own. That's where a new friend or new friends come into the story to help him or her. And that's the idea.
My RPs are dedicated. If you're not dedicated, don't bother with it. Also, I want posts to be readable, in other words reasonable literate without spell checkers and stuff. I don't want to have to be asking what the heck you're trying to say. Beyond that, I'm not gonna be picky.

We don’t share familiarity, obviously, but if you decide to make this a small RP—so that a stranger may join—I would be interested.

It's just with someone new you don't know if your writing styles are gonna work out together or not. I prefer sticking it safe with someone I've done this before with.

Yeah, I get where you’re coming from. It can be considerably difficult to RP with a person of a terribly different writing style, just as it’s difficult to have both 1st and 3rd person narratives in a single RP. I understand completely.

You know what, Xenolith? If you wanna do this one with me, you can. And whether it's a 1x1 or a small RP is up to you.
Feb. 7 at 11:04 pm
Wow. Really? How kind of you. I don’t mind either way; I play both group RPs and 1x1… Plus, I don’t like to be the one responsible for determining the amount of players. So please, whatever you prefer.
Feb. 7 at 11:07 pm
Well quite honestly, I would rather keep this a 1x1 for now, unless someone I know asks to join. We can go ahead and make charies though. I usually like to just put name, age, and appearance, leaving the rest to be developed during the RP. But if you wanna do more that's okay.

Alright. Does it matter what gender my character is?
Feb. 7 at 11:12 pm
Well it depends, do you wanna do romance or not?
Feb. 7 at 11:17 pm
I hate to sound ambivalent, but it doesn’t matter to me. I’m only in one romance at the moment, so it wouldn’t be repetitive, though I don’t specifically mind if I have another or not. I suppose it depends on what it would bring to the storyline.
Feb. 7 at 11:22 pm
Well I suppose we'd need to build things a little more anyway... Would you prefer to play the human? I'm indecisive as to who should play them.
Feb. 7 at 11:27 pm
Ah, two indecisive people. It’ll be interesting to see how this ends…
Hm..I think I would like to play the human, if you don’t mind.
Feb. 7 at 11:33 pm
That's fine. I'm leaning more toward romance, but I see either side being either gender. And there could be more than just the two characters, there could be added friends played by you or me to help the story along. We could even pull a situation in which both the human and one of the non-humans like the same main character.
Feb. 7 at 11:42 pm
*Nods*
Indeed. Then we can laugh as the non-human devours its rival. I’m kidding, of course, but that was the first thought that entered my mind. If I was in that situation, I don’t think I’d have the audacity to take on a super powered being. Anyway, it sounds as though romance could add more complexity to the story. I’m all for it.
It seems like it would make sense for the human to be female, as the non-human would be the one to aid her escape. It seems it would be more likely for love to bloom if a girl was in that situation.
Feb. 7 at 11:44 pm
You're right. So I guess you get the girl. And we can just start out with the guy and the girl and if the story seems to need something extra THEN we can add in another friend or something.
Feb. 7 at 11:55 pm
Agreed. I’ll post my character shortly, and then I’ll have to get off for the night. It’s almost tomorrow…and if my luck is not abundant, I may have to wake up early.
Feb. 7 at 11:59 pm
Alright, I'll be posting my character at some point before I go to bed, which might not be for hours...
Feb. 8 at 12:14 am
Believe me, if I could stay up for a few more hours and not crash in the morning—I would do so instantaneously. But sadly I have people who bother me about staying up late, and I’m not a very good thinker when I’m tired. It’s tragic, really.

I have insomnia...so I can't help it really.

I might spend a while trying to decide just what these non-human people are. Whether is should be a world of mixed monsters and stuff or just a specific species.
