He laid her down when he decided to stop. He covered her with his blanket then he laid down himself. He was 1 foot from her and he closed hsi eyes, sighing.
Bristol woke up from a nightmare, nearly screaming as she jolted up in a cold sweat. She winced, tears falling down her cheek from either pain or fear. She turned about, lookign at her surroundings. She noticed Ahmed off to the side, hopefully asleep to not hear her small whimpers. She laid herself back donw, hoping for a a few more moments of sleep. But they never came. She gently nudged Ahmed in the shoulder. "Ahmed.... Ahmed, are you awake?"
He opened his eyes slowly, looking over at her. "Whats up? Why are you crying?" he asked, getting a little concerned.
She pulled her hands to her face, wiping away any sign of tears. "Um...," she began, her voice slightly broke. "I had a-a nightmare....... and......." She bit her lip at the next part she was about to say. "I am honestly..... terrrified." Silent streams ran down her cheeks.
"What was it about?" he asked, confusedly.
She shook her head. "I honestly don't want to relive it again." She turned and curled up, clutching her shoulder and gently massaging the skin.
"Do you need me to.....hold you or something" he asked cautiously.
She grimaced and turned to him. "Only for cold and fear purposes strictly. You try to touch me in any improper way, I will cut you in your sleep." Her hair feel into her face and she slowly laid back down.
"Um ok?" he asked, confusedly. He gently wrapped his arms around her upper waist and pulled her closer to him.
She pressed her lips together and nearly shivered at his heat. "Ahmed, are you glad we left?"
"Yeah, I hated that place. You?" he replied.
Bristol kept her grimace."Sure... But now we're stranded..."
"Don't worry. We'll figure it out." he said, closing his eyes, resting his chin on her head.
She partially flinched as he did so, but relaxed a little, knowing she was fine. "I hope so..."she replied in a sleepy tone before dozing off.
Soon, he fell into the clutches of sleep as well.
The next morning Bristol woke up, yawning, and snuggling in closer to the warm thing that encased her. She opened her eyes to a shirt and blinked. She nearly wiggled away, realizing it was a chest. She pulled her eyebrows together and looked up. Ahmed lay sound asleep next to her. She grimaced and sat there, unsure what exactly to do, feeling so awkward with his hands around her and so close.
He felt her wiggling and pulled her close unconsciously. He sighed and kept asleep.
Bristol sighed, grimacing. She want going to be staying like this. "Ahmed! ...Ahmed!"
