Cole saw Raphael walk towards Serce. It seemed like Raphel like her, "hey, Raphael." Cole leaned closer to him, "do you like Serce? Because it's obvious to me."
Serce glances up, startled. "Hey," she says softly, a slight smile tugging at her lips. "Why so interested in me? Be honest."
"You want the truth?" Raphael grimaced, but quickly hid it with a smile, trying to look calm. On the inside though, his heart was squeezing painfully. "Because... Who wouldn't be interested in you? Have you seen yourself lately?"
Serce sighs, shaking her head. "I'm just another Dark Angel... One that could hardly pass as a Dark Angel... So I don't - Wait. What?"
She studies him in disbelief, shaking her head. "Did I mishear you, or did you admit to liking me?"
Rai turned away from Raphael and Serce. He was ignored by Raphael when Rai asked him a question. Then he inturupted them, "Hey! guys! So what's your race? If you don't mind answering." He was hoping he wasn't ignored this time.
Oh, man. That just made Raphael blush slightly, and quickly turned to Rai to answer him instead. "Me? I'm a... Well, I used to be... and angel." He turned back to Serce, but still couldn't find words. "Technically, I didn't admit to anything. But... I think you're pretty, if that counts for anything..."
"Believe it or not, I'm actually a Dark Angel," Serce replies, tilting her head to one side. "What are you?"
Serce sighs, nodding, her smile faltering slightly. "Oh. Right. Well, uh... Thanks," she says, nervously braiding a strand of hair. And this is why you don't assume things, Serce. Ever.
Kala leans forward. "Don't mean to barge into your conversation or anything, but what's the difference between a fallen Angel and a dark angel?"
Oh, why did she have to look so heartbroken... Raphael winced involuntarily, hating to see Serce so upset. "Although, I didn't admit to not liking you either..." Did he like her? That's what it was starting to feel like, anyway.
Serce turns slightly in her seat. "Well, appearance, usually. Typically, Dark Angels have dark eyes and hair with pale skin. Obviously that doesn't apply to me. And usually darker wings. Fallen Angels could look like a Light, Dark, or Blood Angel."
(I'm gonna have to explain the latter, huh?)
"Thanks, sorry if I offended either of you." she smiles and leans back in her seat again. Let's just go and ask one of them that, because that was a brilliant way to make friends. Idiot.
Serce waves a hand dismissively, smiling reassuringly at Kala. "It's fine. Most people get confused about that." She turns back to Raphael, brow furrowing. "I can quite honestly say I'm confused now."
"Don't worry," Cole inturupted again, "Light angels are being who's parents are both angels and dark angels are usually born from one angel and one monster creature thingy." Cole wasn't sure how to explain it but he continued, "blood angels are angels who have one angel parent and a human as a parent. Am I right Serce?" He smile and then finished. Soon after he cursed himself because he wasn't intending on doing that.
Raphael forced a smile. "I didn't say I didn't like you, but I didn't say I didn't like you, either. So..." He shrugged. "It's up to you whether you want to know or not."
Arachne glanced at the girl with the gold cobra arm cuff. She was one of the few classmates Arachne has never seen before and that can only mean that the girl has never been to this school. Seeing how everyone else in the classroom was in their own world at the moment, Arachne leaned over her neighbor's desk to get the girl's attention. "You are not from here, correct?" she asked softly.
Kala looked over at the girl sitting next to her, "It's that obvious?" she frowns, twisting her hair around her wrist a few times.
It seemed like Raphael and Serce were too caught up on eachother, so natually Rai noticed a girl talke to Kala. So he spoke out, "... Hey. Is it just me or am I being ignored?" Rai laughed weakly.
Kala looked over at Rai and smiled. "You're definitely being ignored...
(This is all just based from a series of books I've read. You will very likely be confused.)
Serce frowns slightly, shaking her head. "Light Angel... Close. Light Angels are more connected to the daylight hours and are more pleasant to be around. Dark Angels are usually the opposite. Blood Angels are vampire/angel hybrids, occasionally some shapeshifter in the mix, but that's rare. Questions?"
You just contradicted almost every word the poor kid said. How kind of you, she thinks, rubbing her temples and looking at Raphael. "And if I do want to find out?"
