Raphael ignored the bell, taking his time as he walked into class - and who should be there, but Serce. He couldn't help but grimace. Sighing, he found a seat in the back corner and slumped into it, wishing he didn't have to share a class with her.
Serce bites back a groan as she sees Raphael. Of all the people to be in my class, it's him?! she thinks, glancing his way and sighing.
Catching her glance, Raphael felt his self-confidence began to dwindle. He rested his head on his desk; there was no way he could make this chick fall for him like every other girl. Was she blind? She was pretty herself, though, and those wings... How he wished he still had his.
Serce bites her lip, looking away and working on a sketch she had started a few says ago, her silver-blonde hair falling over her shoulder to create a sort of veil almost. No way does he actually want you. He was just interested in your wings.
She knew that last part wasn't true, though. The idea of any guy actually liking her seemed unlikely, especially when the guy she wanted to like her was Raphael.
(Bump. And days, not says. Stupid auto correct.)
[Should we wait for the others..? Or should I just go ahead and post anyway? ]
(We should probably wait...)
"I'm fine" Rai shrugged, "I'm just reluctant to start school." Then the bell rung and his classmates entered the room. He saw a girl with wings the his face reddened. He turned his head around rapidly processing thoughts in his head. It can't be. No. I'm not in a class room full of monsters. Rai carefully pulled off a layer of his binding. Just enough to where he could sense monsters yet they couldn't sense him. He was right. "... Sh*t."
"If you say so..." she looked at him for a second and then hesitated before walking into the classroom and to the back where she left her stuff.
Rai kept his nervousness down to a minimum. Showing any sign that he was a human would make them turn on him, well possibly. When class started The teacher introduces themselves and nugded the students to do so too. Rai was the first one to go up, "Hi, my name is Raizel, just call me Rai." He quickly sat back down.
Serce quickly hides the sketch, pushing her hair back and sighing. She probably needed to cut it - it was always in her face, after all - but most could recognize her by her long, silvery blonde hair and she was loathe to cut it. Should have braided it, she scolds herself, leaning back against the wall in her chair. She'd go up when the teacher asked her, no sooner.
When Rai reached his seat he pulled out an old fashioned watch out of his pocket. It was 7:45 and soon they would have to go to the pep assembly afterwards. They'd be sitting in accordance to class so there was no hope that Rai could escape.
The teacher called Raphael's name, and he sighed. This was stupid. But when he stood in front of the class, he wore that heartbreaking smile, like nothing was wrong, and his life was perfect. "I'm Raphael," he said simply, unable to help his glance over at Serce. He quickly looked away, and went to sit back down, his smile faltering.
Serce bites back a sigh as the teacher calls her up. She walks to the front of the classroom, nervously folding her wings closer to herself, her dark silver eyes betraying her unease at being put in front of people. "I'm Serce... Or Silver, if that's easier," she says, hesitating a moment before walking back to her seat. Brilliant, Serce. Absolutely genius up there.
Kala went up and introduced herself. "Hey, my names Kala." she smiles briefly and went back to her seat.
Rai observed his class mates. They didn't seem too particularly evil then he remembered that not all monsters were evil.
Serce sighs, closing her eyes and chewing on her lip. She was almost certain Raphael would never talk to her now after how she'd acted so nervous in front of other people. Well, you've ruined it now.
Kala looked around at the others, she wondered what they were and why they were here. We're any of them here because they couldn't use their powers properly, like herself... She leans back in her seat.
Sighing deeply, Raphael finally pushed himself up out of his chair and walked over to Serce, placing his hands on her desk. "Hey..." he murmured, unsure of what else he should say. He allowed a faint smile to flicker onto his face.
Arachne stood up, allowing her hair to fall over her face. "I am Arachne," she annoucned casually. She already knew most of her classmates but there were a few new faces. After bowing her head in politeness to the class she sat back in her seat.
