Cole noticed Kenzey's warning, "what? Don't worry. It's not like we're rivals or anything," he laughed it off. "But seriously, we're team mates, why would we try to blow each other up?" Cole shifted to his left and went to the kitchen, he grabbed a soda then quickly went up to his room to get his silenced handgun. "I'm going to visit my connections." He went out the door.
But the fact that Ghost had suggested she go with Snake, it had a certain kind of humor in it that she found funny.
(Sorry, I meant to my last post :P )
((oh okay, now it makes sense..)
Kenzey frowns slightly, nervously stroking the wood of her bow. "Waverly, maybe you should go with Snake... I know he said don't, but... We don't need people getting killed before the fight's even started."
Waverly nods and follows Snake out the door still laughing a bit as she catches up to him.
Snake made his way to his connection. Midas was the name of his connection. It had been a long time now since Snake had seen Midas. Snake wasn't exactly glad to be seeing him again. Painful memories flashed as he thought about Midas. "No Cole, you can't go there. You can't be Jack Ripper again." Snake reached Midas's door, he opened it and found Midas behind the desk. "Hi Midas, long time no see." It had been a while, but Snake put on his game face. His cold, hard killer face.
Waverly followed behind him, wondering if he had the slightest clue that she was there. She stayed quiet as they came to a building, she slipped in behind him.
"ah ha! Jack!" Midas said.
That was the other name Cole was known as, the cold hard assassin Jack Ripper. "I don't go by that name anymore."
"Then why have you decided to come back here? I thought you were out of everything?" Midas replied.
"I am, but I need some stuff, I know you're a gun dealer and you also sell a bunch of other Stuff." Cole said.
"Very well. what is it that you want?" Midas asked.
"I want high grade explosives. Ones that can take out a whole block with a well planned explosion. Also I want a few guns and ammunitions. Bullet vests, lets see... Do you still have my gear?" Cole asked.
After a moment Midas nodded, "I have all of them including your gear, but why do you need all of that stuff?"
"you'll find out Midas. Just wait and see, I expect it to be on the news in a few days." Cole said.
Waverly crossed her arms as she listened to them. She wondered who this guy was and how Snake knew him. And who the hell was Jack? She leaned against the wall waiting for him to finish the little exchange of words so they could leave. sure it didn't look like they know she was there but it didn't make her want to be there any more.
Waverly crossed her arms as she listened to their conversation. She was curious as to who this guy was and how he knew Snake. she also wanted to know who the heck Jack was... She waited quietly and hoped he would hurry up. Sure they didn't seem to know she was there but it didn't make her want to be there any more.
Midas showed Cole the room with all the guns and bombs and war equipment. Cole picked up his gear. A gray sneaking suit padded with special fibers that acted better than a bullet vest. Then he grabbed his bandanna out of his shirt and tied it onto his head, "good." After that Cole went to select everything he needed. Bombs, then guns. five assault rifles, four handguns for Cole had his own, four bullet vests, and a bunch of ammunition. "I'm done."
"Good," Midas said. "It'll be about a hundred thousand.
Cole sighed he pulled out a checkbook and wrote a hundred thousand, "here." The money came from his old bank savings account. But he didn't care much about that anymore. I'll borrow your truck and carry all that equipment.
Kenzey sighs, glancing at Ghost and patting the seat beside her. "Go ahead and sit," she says lightly, smiling warmly at him.
Waverly got tired of standing there so she walked outside and waited for Snake to come out. Taking her dagger out of her boot she starts tossing it up, catching it, tossing it up, catching it...
Cole walked outside and noticed Waverly, "Waverly! What are you doing here! Dam.n it! You're a girl, girls don't do well around these parts." As Cole shouted that he saw ten men appear. "No, no no no!" Cole shifted into his fighting stance, "don't use your knife on them Waverly we can't have anyone being alert to this place." With that Cole calmly fought off the men. He dodged a punch and quickly found a way to dislocate the mans arm. The other one attacked and Cole turned around just in time to use the enemies momentum against him pushing and tripping him along the process. Cole elbowed him in the back and dashed onto the next enemy quickly taking him out. Cole was a demon when it came to battle.
"That's sexist..." She glared at him and tucked her knife back into her boot. she kicked out at a man who came to close for comfort, he fells to his knees and with a kick to the head was unconcious.
Another man pulled out a knife he thrust it forward but Cole grabbed it and twisted the man's arm. He screamed and Cole spun the man around and his face made contact with a wall. Cole backed off. He looked around him. "Scram, If you've heard of Jack Ripper... That legend is right here. Even with a whole army none of you can defeat me."
Waverly had turned her attension away from the men when Cole began to speak and missed a knife that flew passed her head, grazing her cheek. She lifted her hand and touched her cheek, blood stained the tips of her fingers and she frowned at it.
Cole saw the knife that spurred past Waverly's cheek, "That's it." Cole observed the man who threw it and he charged. making sure everything that got in his way was obliterated. A knife shot past Cole and Cole pulled out his silenced gun and pulled the trigger twice. The knife thrower fell down and the rest of the men ran.
