Waverly got bored and walked out of the forest and to the house they were told to meet at. She knocks on the back door, shoving her dagger back into her boot.
"No, you need to rest. The most important thing for a soldier is their own mind. If they lack sleep then they can't perform well enough. Besides I'll wake you up if anything bad happens." Snake explained. "You can't worry about the matter at hand before you worry about yourself."
"Later. After we've all talked," Kenzey says, caving a bit. "A few more hours staying awake won't hurt me."
Waverly sighs and leans against the wall. Maybe she did come to early and they were still asleep...
"Someone's at the door, Snake. Probably Waverly," Kenzey says after a moment, remaining where she was laying on the sofa.
Snake walked over to the door, he opened it and Waverly was outside. "Come on in."
"Waverly?" Kenzey guesses, propping herself up on her elbow, her hair falling into her eyes.
"Yeah," Snake replied.
Waverly comes in and gives a small wave to Snake and Kenzey. "Morning."she mutters, pulling her hair over her shoulder.
"Morning, Waverly. You're early," Kenzey says lightly, smiling warmly at the girl. "Y'know, you really are welcome to stay here."
"Thank you, but I am able to relax better when I am outdoors." she says quietly giving Kenzey a small hardly noticeable smile.
Kenzey sighs, nodding slightly. "Alright, if you insist. I was up early this morning to go over the plans for New Years Day."
((Hey, too late for me to drop in?))
(Nope. Just make a skelly and jump in. Up to you how you want to go about that. Perfect way would be to have your person be the one Kenzey is staying with, but totally your choice.)
Waverly leans against the wall, running a hand through her hair. "No offense or anything, but you look like death..."
Kenzey laughs weakly, shaking her head. "None taken. I've thought that myself, but I can't let us go in unprepared. It's been close to a month since I really got a good night's sleep."
Waverly leans her head back against the wall. "You could always get a couple minutes in now. It's still early..." she mumbles.
"No, no... I'll sleep later today," Kenzey says, waving a hand dismissively. "I'll be alright for a few more hours."
(should I post again or wait for someone else? Lol :P )
Cole sat back listening, he waited for a moment to drop back in, but he did what he did best. Cole stepped back and resigned to his room. He looked at his wooden dartboard that was littered with knives. He plucked off the knives and walked back a few paces then he turned and gracefully threw it. It landed a little of the center. He threw another one then and it hit the right in the center, "Kill." After that he started throwing the knives again. His mind started to stray and lose concetration the he stumbled across the idea of his team mates die in battle. He a knife and it missed completely. "Oh Sh*t." He studied the knife, it didn't look like it was too deep, "oh well." He looked across his wall and studied the holes of the knives that he threw in the past.
