Kenzey relaxes visibly, running a hand through her hair and sighing. "It's fine. I've been more nervous than usual anyway. It's not your fault. I'm Kenzey."
He comes a little closer and is able to pick out a bit of pink in the girls hair... Wait, did she just say her name was Kenzey... he thinks to himself realizing now why he was so drawn to the forest. "I'm Hale." He smiles.
(Would you mind if I joined your New Years Day RP? It's sounds like it'd be fun to RP :) )
Kenzey steps back, eyes narrowed slightly. "I'd feel better if you'd keep your distance," she says, crossing her arms. "I should probably get going..."
"Alright, sorry." He shoves his hands into his pockets, looking at the ground. Da.mnit! Does she know what she is or not?
(Really? :o )
(Totally. I won't be the only one who RPs in present tense. XD)
Kenzey turns quickly on her heel, starting to walk away. Close, Kenzey... If he found out you're a demon... She shudders, tugging nervously on a strand of hair.
Stands there for a second staring after her before turning the opposite way and walking back towards town, towards the hotel. He goes up to his hotel room and decides to take a hot shower. He goes into the bathroom, turns on the hot water and strips down, letting the warm water work out some of the newly forming kinks in his neck.
(Cool! :) I don't quite understand what the 'Caged' is though :P lol )
(The rebel group.)
Kenzey bites her lip, settling down by a small creek running through the forest. She didn't have much. A hunting knife hidden in her boots, a bow and quiver of arrows, and some blankets.
Hale gets out of the shower and dries off, getting changed. He pulls a small crystal out of the case with his weapons and goes over to the mirror in the bathroom. He carefully traces a small symbol as not to scratch the mirror and waits for a second before the mirror starts to ripple like water.
'Hello, Hale. Have you any news for us?' One of the Archangels asks as the mirror settles into a picture of the Arhcangel council sitting before the two way communication device. (Like a webcam type thing, they can see and speak with eachother :P )
'Not yet, sir. I ran into the target but could not yet pick out if she knows anything. I will keep you updated as per usual.'
'Very good.' The picture ripples again and returns into an ordinary mirror.
Hale puts the crystal away before climbing into bed and going to sleep.
Kenzey brushes her fingers over the water, frowning at her reflection and tucking her hair behind her ear, splashing water on her face before curling up beneath her blankets to sleep.
(I don't know what he should do next...)
We can skip to the next day or something...
Hale wakes up the next morning and gets changed, throwing on a pair of jeans and a navy tshirt, he decides to find his target again today and watch over her to see if what he can get a little more information about her.
Kenzey had woken a few hours ago to hunt, her hair pulled back out of her face. She was hoping there would be no further encounters with Hale, that maybe it had just been a freak thing. Really? A freak thing? she asks herself, shaking her head and sighing.
Hale left the hotel and wen straight into the forest being as quiet as possible and staying as hidden from view as possible. He has brought a small dagger with him just in case even though he was almost positive he wouldn't need it if a fight broke out between the two of them.
Kenzey sighs, recognizing the feeling from the day before return. "I know you're there," she says calmly, nocking an arrow and pulling the bowstring taut, yet she remained somewhat relaxed.
"So you do." Hale says coming into view a few feet away from her, his hands in his pockets again. "Tell me, how much do you know?"
"Enough to know I shoudn't trust you," Kenzey says, shrugging slightly and swiftly loosing an arrow at a rabbit that had run in front of her. "What'cha going to do about it, pretty boy? Hm? I'm a demon. Big deal."
Hale smirks at the 'pretty boy' comment before turning serious, "Oh, it is a big deal. To the Archangels and those who make a living trapping or killing demons like you."
"Too bad you're not gonna get me," Kenzey says, laughing softly. "Looks aren't everything. I'm a lot stronger than I look."
