Crash! the door flew off its hinges and landed right in front of ninos. Two large hybrids blocked the door, one looked like some sort of lizard with the other looked like a porcupine with quills sticking out everywhere. They boy were male it looked like and both had strong muscles.
"Ash, Run!" Ninos screamed as the lizard launched itself twoards them on all fours.
Ninos dropped the book and swung his pole to hit its head. The lizard hybrid reared back so the staff barely missed. Ninos quickly grabbed the both ends of this staff and held it out in front of him. The lizard swiped at him, he blocked the swippe with the staff.
the Porcupine moved around the lizard, aming for Ash. Ninos wished he had more hands or a clone!
(You can get more discriptive if you wish :P didn't want to describe to much of the hybrids))

Ash yanked the k-bar out of the sheath and bradnished it at the porcu-bryd. stabbed towards the softer underbelly area, the porcu-bryd walked on all fors. Ash gritted her teeth to keep from screaming when quills were shot at her, some missed her, but some hit to. They stabbed her neck, hands, legs and arms, some even hit her face.. Ash stabbed again toward sthe under bely of the procu-bryd, this time hitting it, blood suprted onto the walls, her, her clothes, and the floor, she drew her arm back to stabbed again.
(You gave me the idea :P lol, thought you should kill it)
Ninos gritted his teeth as the Lizards claws dug into his leg. With all his force he hit the lizards neck but all ti did was made the thing angry. Ninos danced around, his leg nearly killing him with pain. The lizard was fast but Ninos was a little faster. It cut at his arms and legs but Ninos was aming for its head. If he hit that hard enough it would knock out but not die. Finally an opening, the lizards scratched his ribs and ninos was able to hit the lizard on the head. The eyes rolled back and it fell to the gound. Ninos now used his staff as a leaning post taking deep breaths. He looked at Ash and glared.
"Do you know the meaning of 'run'" he snapped.
The porcu-bryd was dead. Ash glared back at Ninos as she cleaned her knife and resheathed it.
"It attcled firs'." she snapped at Ninos. She sat down and started to pull the barbs out of her legs, arms, neck, hand, and face. It was very painful and her face screwed up intoo a pained looke dshe pulled them out.
"An' I prolly couln't a out run it." she added angrily as she continue dto take the barbs out of her neck, her legs now had no barbs in them and were bleading, scratch that she was bleeding all over from the barbs.
Ninos still glaring, pulled off his t-shirt painfully. He ripped it up and knelt down beside Ash. He ripped his shirt into strips and started wrapping her wounds, ignoring his own. He has seen hybrids, but from afar and has never gotten attacked.
"Your bad luck," He said finishing up the banages on her legs. "Now we have to get going before lizard-brid wakes up."
He stood up and held out his staff to help ash up.
Ash reached behind her and grabbed some of the larger camo uniforms and tossed them to Ninos to use for bandages. She then pushed herself to her feet and grabbed the staff to steady herself ebfore straightening.
You're bad luck, you're bad luck....his words rang in her head, that's what her mother had said sometimes when she'dbeat Ash, it what her sister called her before she left to go get married. You're bad luck, you're bad luck, you're bad luck. She gritted her teeth and glared at him, hating him for sayng thos eowrds, but she had to follow him, for a little while at least.
Ninos grabbed one of the camo jackets and the jorunal. He put the jacket on and slide the book into the part of the jacket that it would remain safe. Using his staff as more of a crutch, he started twoards the club again, listening for any sign of hybrids. Thankfull there wasn't any, poking his head out of the door he realized there was something worse. Ninos pushed Ash aginst the wall vertical to the door pressing agaisnt hit himself. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"We have a huge problem," He whispered as his mind raced for a plan.
Ash peeked around Ninos and then pressed against the wall too. You're bad luck..she thought, she believed everyone who'd ever said that, she was bad luck, everything bad happened to people when she was around it seemed. She cursed herself inwardly adn swore she'd make she didn't bring bad luck yo anyone if she could only get out of this situation.
Guards started to swarm into the club with flash lights and guns. As they scanned the area, Ninos prayed they wouldn't find the door. It was out of the way and behind the bar. That wish went up in the air when four men carefully walked in. They didn't notice the children at first, they were to intent on the hybrids.
Ninos was sure they were going to kill the lizard, that is what they are alive for. Yet, as he watched he realized they injected the creature with some drug and was tieing it up.
One of the guards turned to leave and noticed the glint off Ninos's staff. He aimed his weapon on the two children.
"What are you two doing here?!" The guard said in a tense voice then he recongnized Nenios, "Ohh, your dad won't save you this time."
The guard called for the others out in the club to bring binds for the kids. Ninos glared at the guard hating how he brought up his dad. His dad has alot of sway with the leader and he hated how his dad always saved him. Glaring, Ninos counjured enough spit in his mouth and spat it in the face of the guard. The guard in anger hit Ninos in the head with the bu--tt of the gun. He then glared at the girl.
"Want the same treatment?" He spat glaring at the girl.
"I don''t care." Ash grunted and swore, she glared at him and copying Ninos spat in his face, the gaurd did the same thing he'd odne to Ninos and hit he rin the head with the butt of his gun. She fell down though becuase she wa stoo small to be able to withstand the impact. Guards came in and tied their hands, Ash was jerke dto her feet, though her world was no spinning in very fast circle.s The gaurds were talking withe ach other, but ash was too dizzy and had lost too much blood form the poruc-bryd attack to comprhend what theyw ere saying. She felt them being pushed out and started walking somewhere, they were surrounded by guard.
Ninos head was spinning as well, and besides all the scars now he head hurt to. He could make out where they were going and the guards that surrounded him. There voices sounded like they were all under water. The jounral had been taken from him as well as his staff. Right now, he could care less how bad of a fuss he dad was going to make over this. He just wished his head would stop spinning. Ninos tripped and fell, making the guards laugh. They pulled him up again and made him walk faster. He stumbled like a man who had to many drinks.
The guards took the two kids through the city back to the main camp around an old city hall. The leader and a few other members of the council lived here. The buidling was made of white marbel with four half destroyed colloms supporting a type of proch. The doors to the buildign were gone, which left the gap wide open. The kids were put into a small room and thrown to the floor and untied.
Ash lay still staring at the ceiling, her head had hit the floor rather hard, and now the world was spinning even fast and she just manage dto roll voer before she threw up what ever that thing was she'd ate earlier. She got up and stumbled to the door, trying to open it,
"We're lock in." she mumbled as she sunk to the ground and sat, drawing her knees up she rested her head on them and wished tehw orld would stop spinning in circles. Her ears were also buzzing and her whole body hurt. This had been a very eventful and unfun day.
In response, Ninos groaned and felt shots of pain from the scratches. He would have loved to sit up but the scratch on his ribs was crustign now and would start bleeding again if he sat up. His world was slowing down and he could make out what room he was in kind of.
"This is a holding room," Ninos sighed knowing the room well. "I have been here a total of fif-nope sixty-four times in my life."
(Okay, so are we going to make characters out of the leader and the head scientist and powe play them. Or just insert infromation in as it fits?)

Ninos sighed, "Well knowing how fast word travels around here. My dad will start begging the leadeer for my redemption with in thirty minutes. Then I protest leaveing if I can't take you." Ninos sat up groaning, "since i prasume you have no family."
Ninos looked around the familiar room, thinking on where he hide those candies. With momentus effort he stood up and instantly his head swam. He stumbled for a second then regeinged his sense. Walking to a small birck that looked tight fitted, he carfully prided it out and found four hard candies that never went bad. He took a green and blue then stuck the brick back in its spot. Walking over to Ash, he knelt down and held out a candy.
"Here, a thank you for not ditching me." Ninos said with a weak smile.

The guard that had catpure Ninos and Ash stood in the loby of the office of the leader. He only wore a pistol and the normal full suit body armor. the room was simple with one window, a desk, and a tall thin lady behind the desk. She was writing on a peice of paper and glancing up at the guard every five minutes. Finally the door opened and a shorter lady stepped out.
"You may see him now," her voice was sharp and heated.
She walked past the guard and out of the room. The guard, strided into the office and closed the door. This room was much bigger and had more decoration to it. The circular room had four windows with the best curtains covering them. The desk was polished till it showed reflections. Four couches stood on either side of the desk. A tall high back chair sat behind the desk with a well built man sitting in the chair.
The man's body was fit and well toned, havign eaten better then anyone around. He wore a simple white shirt with black pants that were tight against his body. His black hair now show signs of gray and his face showed wrinkles. you would never guess his age to be in the fifties but it was.
The man looked up at the guard, his dark brown eyes growing black.
"What news do you have Tevit?" The man asked, his voice deep and strong.
The guard swallowed and nodded. "Sir, we captured a lizard but the porcupine was killed." The guard explained stepping closer to the desk. "Ninos was found with a girl, and I am not sure which one killed the lizard. The most important news is that Ninos was found with this." The guard pulled out the journal and set it on the desk.
The man leaned foward and took the journal. Flipping through it, he got the darkest expression on his face. He looked up at Tevit glaring at him.
"Have you read any of this?" He asked holding up the journal.
"No sir," Tevit answered in a soldier like manor, "IT is not for me to read. You forbid anyone from reading books found out side the parmiter."
"Good," the man said standing and moving across the room. "Let us go vist Ninos and his new friend."
Ash shrugged and took a candy,
"You coul'n't take two 'ibryds on a survive, I'd be a murde' if I lef' ya." she siad upwrapping the candy and popping it in her mouth. SHe chosen the green one, a sweet yet tart flavour filled he rmouth as she sucked on the hard ball of sugar and some type of flavor she didn't recognize.
Ash shifted towards the back of the room when she heard noisees, someone was coming. Her face still showed a bit of fear, but she tried to make iit placid, whoever had captured them didn't need to know cramped spaces spooked her becuase of her past. She pulled herself to her feet and leaned against the wall to keep her balance. Ash wodnered if Ninos was telling the truth and really would insist she came with if he was realised.
