"I can't believe," Ninos said inhaling deeply, "no one has seen it. Then again no one would see it cause it is so subtitle it isn't even funny."
Ninos stood and started breaking locks on cages. He explained as he went, in pure ejoyful histaria.
"The scientst have been working on a immortal syrum! To make everyoen in the world immortal for probably a steep price. Still, look at it! All the animals went missing from the world, and then these crazy hybrids come out. The scentist used the animals first but once they were all gone, they still hadn't perfected it. So they let them lose to destroy everything!! Then people start to "die" from hybrid attacks." Ninos stopped at the last cage, where a little heagehog was kept. He picked it up and held it out to Ash. "they didn't die, but turned into HYBRIDS!"
Ash looked at Ninos like he was a crazy for a few moments and then looke dat the perturbed looking hedgehog who'd had it;s sleep disturbed.
"OK< I belie'e ya." she siad, decided what Ninos said made sense. She went and taking the hedge hog from Ninos and put it back in it cage. The hedge promptly went into it's little tube and fell to sleep.
"So every crueatre here is human," Ninos said going back to the mouse. "Will you help us get out of here, do you want to come with us?"
He figured if he could get enough of the animals to agree. Then he could locate some form of light and send them through the air ducks. They could find a faster way to get out of here then just roaming the halls. Coruse he had to get these little guys to agree.
The mouse tried to smile,
"I'll help ya." he said, other animals murmured in agreement. Except the Kangaroo rat.
"How would it help us to com ewith you?" the kangroo rat asked, it was a girl. The animals again murmured, agreeing with her too,. The room went silent as they waited for Ninos to respond.
The mouse pasued fro a few moments,
"I agree." he said. The room murmured in agreement, until the kangroo rat spoke up.
"What will we get out of it?" she asked. The room murmured again, and then started tow hisper and talk to one another, agrueing, then they went silent adn looked to Ninos for his agruement on why theys hould help.
Ninos got a mean look on his face, his teeth clinched.
"You are getting to be free," He said darkly, "or you can sit in here and pray your not fed to a monster in the huge maze or maybe expermented on further."
He looked as Ash, his face softening slightly. He had to get her and himself out of here. He looked around and found a small vent panel on the floor near door. He walked over and pulled it off relving the dark metal vent. He stood and pointed to it, looking at the small creatures.
"You guys go through here and try heading up," He said a memory surfacing in his mind. "the maze we were in was rock which i guess means were in some cave or earth type area. So if we head up we should find light." He walked over to the door and pushed the desk blocking it away. "You can stay here or go, I am not going to figh with you."
He ushered Ash to follow as he opened the door. Seeing no guard he headed down the dark hall way and looked for stairs.
