Missing In Action. Killed In Action. That's what happened to your friends and now it's going to happen to you. All because of the special powers you possess It's your job to find the others with powers and survive the CDC.
Side: CDC or Super
Power: (Power must have a drawback)(Only if you are a super)
Name: Gabriel Holden (Nightmare)
Bio: Gabriel hs been searching for his long lost friend and mentor, Yuri (Quicksand), who has been missing in action from a raid on CDC headquarters for two months. Gabriel wants more than anything to find him, and nothing will stand in his way. He is aloof and doesn't trust anybody. Prefers to spend his time alone.
Appearance: Gabriel is tall and lanky, at 6'3''. He wears a black denim jacket over a plain white t-shirt, and a dogtag with Yuri's name on it. His black jeans are torn and burned, and he looks as if he hasn't slept in a proper bed for weeks (which, of course, he hasn't).
Power: Gabriel has the power to turn dreams and imagination into reality. He can focus on whatever he or another person is thinking, and bring it to life. The drawback is that everything he tries to create comes out deformed and hideous- a nightmare. He can only use his power at night. He carries a handgun for protection during the daytime.
Name: Cole (Jack Frost)
Bio: He wasn't aware of his powers until the CDC crashed through his house and demanded him or they'd take his family. Ever since then he's been developing his power and trying to obtain his family.
Appearance: Black hair and electric blue eyes, Cole is a mid height teenager who is skinny. He wears a blue shirt under a khaki raincoat.
Power: Cole can make ice out of the air and shoot ice. Etc. He can basically control ice that he creates. The drawback is that he need moisture and the dryer it is the less ice he can draw out. So he's useless when there is no water in the air or when something is taking the moisture. He also can freeze himself if he uses too much of his power.
Just for the heck of it I'm also going to do a bad guy.
Name: Alastair King
Bio: He works for CDC and is charged with keeping the supers under control. Alastair is trained as a secret agent and he deploys his soldiers to capture or destroy the supers.
Appearance: Blonde hair and usually wears sun glasses that enhance his vision. Wears a black leather jacket and jeans.
Name: Lacey McCarthy
Bio: Lacey grew up in the foster system, she never knew her real parents. When the CDC tried to force her into service, Lacey escaped from the facility and has never stopped running. She has contacts in the black market, Russian mafia, Irish mafia as well as friends in high, not necessarily legal, places in Columbia and Venezuela.
Appearance: Lacey isn't to big or strong, but she is quick and agile. She has a lean build, a little over five feet and very willowy. Lacey can easily blend into her surroundings by use of disguise and hiding places because she has been running for a long time. Lacey's eyes are bold and blue, very round and shrouded in copper eye makeup. Her hair is normally dirty blonde and wavy, but it's currently died lavender. Lacey is a chameleon when it comes to her looks, but she always wears lipstick and a pair of black durango boots.
Power: She calls her ability fade. Lacey can manipulate air, or what she calls a cell absence, as well as manipulating cell growth allowing her to heal at an accelerated rate and have mild control over other beings or plants. Lacey can't be outside during the daytime for reasons she doesn't know. Exposure to sunlight, or ultra violet light causes her to bleed out of her nose, ears, and eyes and she will eventually fade away.
(( I'm going to start now if you don't mind. Anyone can join as long as it doesn't reach a lot.))
Cole wandered through the streets. He was distracted, weaving his way through the people and making his plans for possible outcomes. If there was anything life had ever taught him, it was to be prepared for all possible outcomes.
Lacey stood over the body and cursed. Leaving a kill would be a red flag to the CDC. Her kills were distinctive, pale skinned, red eyed and faintly smelling of acid. As the man coughed and groaned, Lacey let out a sigh of relief, before she adjusted the duffel over her shoulder and took off into the shadows. Daylight was coming in a few hours, but she probably had enough time to hide the bag and make her way to a safe, dark place to wait out the day. When she emerged onto a street, she pulled her hat over her eyes and looked down, fading into the crowd. Lacey was dressed in only a dress and her favorite leather jacket with the "Jack Pepper's BBQ and Wild West Show" patch on the back, so she was chilled. She bumped into plenty of people, ignoring most of them and taking the contents of some of their pockets. When she crashed into a young teenager with black hair, she was propelled back, nearly toppling over in the process. "Watch it, Casper." She said softly, quickly gathering the random wallets that fell out of her pockets.
Gabriel looked warily at the dragon. It dwarfed the man at 7'6'', and flicked a long, pale blue, snake-like tongue at him. Several wings sprouted from all areas of it's body- arms, face, side. The monster had thirteen eyes- Gabriel knew how many it was exactly- and they, too, were scattered throughout the beasts torso and head. Gabriel cursed as the nightmare crawled towards him, crushing bodies of CDC agents. "Sh.it," He scolded himself silently. "It'll be obvious where I am, now." He closed his eyes, and imagine himself holding a long, gleaming broadsword. He felt something harden in his hands, and opened his eyes. A usual, the object was deformed- a stubby, black blade, with a bone handle that cracking beneath his grasp. A nightmare, for which he was aptly named. "Good as I'm going to get." Gabriel whispered, and charged the dragon head on.
Alastair stood at the terminal. He was looking up at the huge briefing screen. When he wasn't communicating with others the screen was a map constantly being updated where every Super was at the last known location. He smiled evily. Every super would be under his hand, then he'd take out his superiors. After that conquering the world was next.
Cole sat on his bed. He was in a green hotel room. The light had projected a poor light and was flickering constantly. He held was stitching up his wound. When he finished a Cole went outside, he grimaced. He felt his rib and came to a conclusion that it was fractured. He cursed to himself, if he hadn't got into that street fight then he would have been fine.
Gabriel stumbled into a dank alley. After the dragon, he just needed a good warm bed to stay the night. Suddenly, red and blue flashing lights dragged him forcefully out of his reverie. A distorted voice boomed over a bullhorn, and before he knew what was happening, Gabriel found himself being forced into a car. He closed his eyes, and focused on the thought of one atom in the CDC officer's heart. He opened his eyes, and saw the officer clawing at his chest, as spurts of blood poured from his chest. The officer tried to scream, but only blood poured out. Gabriel used this Nightmare as a distraction. He cursed himself as he ran away. He hated creating Nightmares.
Lacey had hidden the bag on the roof of a building in the air conditioning system, the same place she had hidden her small bag of belongings. She quickly pulled on jeans and a sweatshirt before yanking her boots and jacket back on. By the time she had hopped back to the ground, she could already feel the fade under her skin as dawn approached. She wasn't the only one on the street. There was also a boy, probably another street kid. He was wearing a tan raincoat and looked worse for wear. She could feel the pain his cells were sending off from the other side of the alley. Typically Lacey would keep walking, but she had to have at least one redeeming quality or she might as well consider herself one of the bad ones. "Hey, get over here, kid." she said, approaching him slowly. "That looks painful." She said, reaching for his side. Lacey closed her eyes, power seeping into bone and muscle and repairing dead and mangled cells.
Gabriel ran and ran, until he couldn't run anymore. He looked behind himself- he lost them. He stopped running, and slowly leaned against an allyway. He saw a girl he vaguely recognized- she was kneeling next to a homeless kid, probably some junkie. Gabriel advanced. There was something about this girl that made him think she was less than normal.
When the girl had came and randomly healed Cole, he was surpised, "thanks." He smiled, "I haven't gotten any kindess from anyone..." He paused, "how did you do that? Heal me?... Do you have super powers?" Cole asked as he made an ice ball from his hand.
Lacey grinned and shrugged. "I'm your fairy godmother." She said with a flurry of movement. She glanced at his hand and... a snowball? Lacey looked around and couldn't find any snow. "Hmm. Looks like you're magic too." She said. Lacey felt another being behind her, and she stood up abruptly. "Quick question. The name King mean anything to you?" She felt for her knife in her jacket pocket and shifted uncomfortably on her feet.
Gabriel smiled. This girl was quick. "Alistair King." He said. "Head of the CDC, Super division. He wants to capture us, destory us, annihilate us, erase our people from history. But we will not go so gentle into that good night." Gabriel offered the girl his hand. "Gabriel Holden. Also known as Nightmare."
Cole saw Gabriel announce his name, "Hi Gabriel, It's nice to meet you now that I've finally met you in person. I've heard from my connections about you. Don't ask." Then Cole looked at the girl, "yeah, what he said," Cole pointed to Gabriel.
Nightmare grinned half-heartedly. He beckoned to Cole. "What are your names?" He asked. He looked around quickly, and motioned the other two to follow him. "We probably shouldn't be talknig on the street. Follow me."
"I'm Cole, otherwise known as Jack Frost." Cole replied as he followed Gabriel.
