"I' m one of the 'Shifters," Kass says quietly, biting her lip. "Thst is why I said a healer wouldn't help. I'm not your kind at all."
Will had a slight look of suprise on his face but contiued walking."I don't care.You are still a person despite what the milatary say"Will said remebering the somewhat peaceful time before the war."Where does it hurt"He said to her after setting down on his bed.
Kass sighs, wincing. "Just about everywhere. I think the worst is over my ribs, though."
He glanced at her and said "I'm not sure what to do about broken ribs but I can relieve the pain.".He picked up a dried herb that was lying in a box."This will relieve the pain but you might become....a little dizzy"Will said.
Kass frowns at it distrustfully, nodding after a moment. "Alright..." She didn't like the idea of having an angel taking care of her, but she wouldn't be able to fight back, so she may as well trust a little bit.
He opened her mouth and stuffed the herb in her mouth."Okay just chew"He said going to get bandages to cover up the cuts."Also its very bitter"Will said.
Kass sighs, chewing on the herb and letting herself relax somewhat.
Will brought back the bandages and started bandaging the girl.Well they were more like gashes."I never got your name"Will said to Kass.
"Kassandra... I usually go by Kass, though," she replies, trying to stay still as he bandaged her.
"Its nice to meet you Kass"Will said happily.After bandaging the last wound on her he said "I'm Will".
Kass nods slightly. "I..." She pauses, shaking her head. "Thanks for helping me."
"Your welcome"He said."You should get some sleep,you'll recover faster"Will quickly said heading out."I'm just going to get some water"He said.
Kassandra sighs softly, curling up on the bed, yet only to find it impossible to sleep.
Will soon returned with two large flask of water."Are you okay"He asked noticing that Kass was restless.
"Still a bit wary of this. It's not because of you. I guess that I am simply used to angels trying to kill me, not help me," Kass says, shrugging and then wincing. "I'll eventually be able to sleep... I hope."
Will nodded and said lightly"That is what would be excpected in this case".He set the flasks down and looked at Kass."What got you into this music"He asked.
"Got caught spying," Kass says, rolling her eyes. "I've been a spy since I was 14... One of the best, everyone said. But I messed up. They tortured me for information and then dumped me in the forest." She bites her lip, shifting as best she could to a slightly more comfortable position.
