"Ness?" He rushed over to where she was. SHe had passed out. Shaking his head, he shook her. "Ness, get up, please."
Ness heard Alex calling her. She winced loudly as he shook her. she slowly opened her eyes. "easy there Im not just hurt in one area you know."she mumbled. She stayed in Alex's arms. She hugged him despite the pain. "thank you." she wispered into his ear.
"Anytime, Ness." He stood up, offerign a hand. "Let's get you home."
Ness smiled and grabbed his hand. She got up and stayed holding his hand. She said" ok. lets go.". She walked with him to her house.
He kept ahold of her hand. "What was that as.shole's problem, anyways?" He tried to make conversation with any girl he escorted. Kind of an od way to think about it.
Ness looked down. "He was nice at first and we talked at the table, but then he wanted to get me to go with him to his house, but i lied and told him I had a boyfriend and that my 'boyfriend' was a model compared to him. and i went outside and he dragged me into the alley and beat me. he said thats what i get for declining him"she told him. Tears slid down her face now. she quickly wiped them away.
Alex frowned. "If I see him again, I'll take care of him for good." Alex fixated on the walk ahead. "Where do you actually live?"
Ness looked back up. "i live a block or two over. "she told him. she kept hold of him not wanting to let go. a cold breze came and she shivered. she had left her jacket at home.
As if reading her thoughts, he turned to her. "Kind of wish I would've brought a jacket for you." He was pretty cold as well. Of course, he wasn't wearing one either. Went to figure.
Ness shook her head. "its ok. i can handle the cold. She shivered again. she kinda wished that he would put an arm around her. that way she could keep warm by leaning into his side.
He gritted his teeth. "Lucky you, I can't feel my left side."
Ness smiled and put an arm around him as well. "you can come by my house whenever."she told him.
He laughed. "I'll remember that." He was on his way there anyways.
