A group of friends became scattered as one by one they left their small hometown in Nevada, losing contact with each other. Of course, they still vaguely remember the others, but when they come back, no one is as they once were. Everyone expects the same bubbly girl or the former football star that was every girl's dream. But those are just ghosts of the past. Even looks have changed and best friends can become the worst of enemies in the blink of an eye. Can this group of friends come together again or will they become completely separate from one another?

Full Name: Leo Wilson
Nickname: was known as "Meaty"
Looks Before: He was a really short and fat kid, that looked pretty much like a meatball (thus the nickname "Meaty"). He had short curly black hair and tiny black eyes that were always full of tears.
Looks Now: He is much taller, and a lot thinner. When he was was about 15 he grew about a feet taller in one summer and continued to get taller during the year which gradually (along with the swiming classes he had decided to take up) made his body now look lean and athletic. His curly brown hair is neck-length and his eyes seem a lot bigger in his now thin, high-cheekboned face. He rarely truely smiles, but when he does, it's probably the most beautiful thing you have ever seen in your life.
Personality: He used to be very emotional and sensitive due to his mother's death when he was about 8. Children always teased him and had only few friends that truly understood him. (His looks didn't really help him in meeting new people). When he got into High School he toughened up, focused more on his studies and stopped being the cry baby he was. Now he is a pretty serious handsome guy that is more mature than the other guys in his age.
Clothing Style: Mostly casual: dark blue or black jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, a cross necklace (it used to be his mother's)
Other: He studies Science.
((I'd like to join. I'll try and post my skellie some time this afternoon.))
Full Name: James Matthews
Looks Before: James never paid particular attention to his looks, but was always quite attractive, in a scruffy way. His shaggy light brown hair always needed a haircut and he wasn't ever seen out of hoodies, jeans and scuffed converses. His eyes were a bright green and surrounded by laughter lines. The dimples in his cheeks were always showing as he smiled.
Looks Now: James takes a lot more care with his appearance. He now wears suits, or at least and shirt and smart jeans. His hair is frequently cut by an expensive hairdresser and is styled daily. His eyes are the same colour, but the laughter lines - and the dimples - have gone.
Personality: James was always a fun-loving, laid back guy. He was very into art, but liked to play sports and do other things too. He was generally quite well liked and made an effort to act friendly with everyone. Now, he seems more serious. He has dropped the art and is planning on a career in law or politics. He is a lot more sensible than he used to be, but also a lot less happy. He seems very different to how he was at school, although he still has the same confidence and charm. His good humour now only comes out occasionally, but he still is kind and friendly to other people.
Clothing Style: ((Included in appearance.))
Other: Since leaving school, his mother died and he moved in with his father, who has a new family.
We can start if everyone's ready.
I'm ready when you are?
(Great I'm ready too:))
(Great I'm ready too:))
Full Name: Beryl Magee
Looks Before: Beryl has never really had height on his side, he was always fairly short for his age. He was very fit and toned, he never stopped moving and couldn't sit still. He had dark blonde hair and energetic blue eyes and an ever present goofy grin.
Looks Now: Beryl is taller now, just under six feet and has filled out more. He is still very lean and now has some tattoos. His hair is lighter from all the sun in South America and his skin is tan.
Personality: When he was younger, Beryl was a disaster to himself and those around him. He was destructive without meaning to be, impulsive, immature, fun loving and crazed, with to much energy to handle. He was always getting into trouble with everyone from the local cops to school teachers. Now Beryl has matured a bit, but not by much considering. He is still impulsive, energetic and fun loving, he'll never grow out of that. He is also much more aware of his surroundings now and considers the dangers of things he does. He tries a bit to make himself seem normal now, as he's learned the consequences of being himself around strangers.
Clothing Style: Very simple, he only ever wears worn jeans, t shirts, and work boots, or he'll go barefoot. He doesn't really like to wear a lot of clothing, so it's common for him to be barefoot and shirtless.
Other: Just got back from two years in South America.
Bask was walking down the street, her blonde and black hair blowing around her face in the sudden gust of wind, though her sunglasses hid her eyes anyway. She didn't know why she'd decided to come back from Michigan. Maybe it had been the cold, but even then, it could get cold even in Fallon. But it was her home, no matter.
"Are you sure you don't want anything else than a black coffee? "
"No, dad, I'm fine..." Leo answered and couldn't stop looking around him. It was his old house. He had spent the first ten years of his life there but still there was something that made him feel terribly uncomfortable in there. The memories...
"Here it is..."
Leo took the hot cup of coffee from his dad and managed to do a grimace that looked a bit like a smile. It was really difficult to fake a smile in there, especially when he remembered all the times that he he had cried in this house...It was impossible for him to understand why his dad decided to come back to Michigan when he went to the University...
His dad noticed his facial expression and smiled.
"Isn't it amazing? I look at every corner of this house and it brings me back so many memories! Do you remeber when you played hide-and-seek with your friends and you ran into a window? It was so hilarious, Leo!"
"Yeah..." Leo whispered, not wanting to break his father's happiness...
"Oh everything changed so much since then... Especially you, son... Look at you! You were such a sensitive fluffy chubby kid when you lived here and now...." he stopped to sweep the tears from his eyes.
"You are a charming succeessful young man...You mum would have been so proud, Leo" his voice cracked and Leo started to feel like he was drowning.
"Great, dad..." he replied quickly and stood up.
"I'll take a walk, if you don't mind" he said softly while he was walking out of the house. Maybe it was a bit hearless of him that he left his dad alone crying but he couldn't stand this anymore...
James sat on a bench in the park, a bunch of lilies in his hands. The place was exactly as he remembered it. The same old playground, the paint chipped from age, the seats of the swings sagging. It had been old when he was a kid.
He was only supposed to be back for a few days to go visit his mother's grave and finally finish clearing her house. He'd been putting it off for two years now, but it was time to stop living in the past. He found himself briefly wondering if he'd bump into any of his old school friends. He supposed not though - they'd all have got out as soon as they could.
Bask sweeps her hair out off her eyes, absently starting toward the park, not really thinking, just doing. Sometimes she went there just to think, perched precariously on one of the old swings. She wondered if any of the others had come back, though she doubted it. It was bittersweet to be back.
Nostalgia imediatelly occured Leo when he walked past the local park. There weren't many things in this town that he liked but this park was an exception. So many games, so many laughs, so many heartbeats... He could almost find himself and his old friends among these kids who were playing football...
He smiled bitterly and continued his walk.
They probably wouldn't recognise me if they saw me now...
Bask pauses, leaning against a tree and bowing her head, a soft sigh escaping her. Even if Leo or anyone is back, they won't know it's you, she tells herself, a slight frown tugging at her lips. Sometimes she even forgot who she once was after how much she'd changed. One thing that she swore would never change, though, was her loyalty. Thinking back, she hadn't realized how much she missed everyone.
