Britt nods, starting for the kitchen. "Y'know, I'm curious. Why did you come?" she asks over her shoulder, digging through the fridge for something to eat. "Ugh. I do not want to go to the store..."

((I'm sorry Shadow >.<))
Korio follwed her like a hungry puppy but stepped away when he felt a cold air breeze at him when she opened small door. Strange room, he thought looking into the fridge over Brittany's shoulder. It looked empty. He sighed and leaned against the counter. "Basically, I ran away from home," he said, rolling an orange across the counter top.

Britt sighs, shutting the fridge door and leaning against the counter. "I wish I had that option. Get away from all of this," she murmurs, gesturing vaguely at the house.
Jan. 2 at 5:17 pm
Korio looked at her, "Well, why can't you? The door is right there y'know." He pointed at the entrance, "It's easier for you to escape than for me. I had to wait for a door to open which is rare now and days."
Jan. 2 at 5:20 pm
Britt laughs bitterly, shaking her head. "If only it were as simple as just walking out and never coming back. People won't just shrug off a girl walking the streets and it would be a matter of packing at least enough food and such until I found somewhere to stay."
Jan. 2 at 5:40 pm
"Well you have a better chance to live on your own here than I do," Korio mumbled quietly. "I guess your're right," he said a bit louder and lifted Brittany's arm, "Who would want to deal with this?" He voice was sarcastic and he let the girl's arm drop. "So you have no food?" Korio asked in a more serious tone.
Jan. 2 at 5:58 pm
Brittany narrows her eyes, pulling out her phone and starting to dial a number. "Not till I go shopping. I'll just call in pizza," she says.
Jan. 6 at 12:10 pm
Korio scrunched his face. He's heard of pizza before but it's not really a meal for a prince. He was going to protest but his energy level was really low and felt lazier than ever. Korio slumped to the floor and sighed. "Make sure they hurry up, okay?" he whined.
Jan. 6 at 1:08 pm
Britt glances at him sharply, stormy grey eyes narrowed. "It's like a block from my house. It won't take that long," she says, ordering the pizza and kicking her shoes off, tossing them into the living room.
Jan. 10 at 5:08 pm
Korio rolled his eyes. Yeah like I know that, he thought but kept his thoughts to himself. He watched her order the food and didn't wait for her to finish talking to whoever was on the other line. "Hey! Make sure to tell him to hurry up." He wanted to see how far he could push this girl's buttons. It's probably not the smart thing to do but he gets bored easily.
Jan. 10 at 7:08 pm
Britt hangs up, taking a breath to stay calm and eyeing Korio. "As I said, it's only about a block away. Relax," she says evenly, hopping up on the counter and twirling her hair around her finger.
Jan. 11 at 3:59 pm
Korio frowned. "Tch. You're no fun," he mumbled. He looked at her, trying to figure her out. "Hey, why aren't you out with your friends? Isn't that what humans do? Hang out with their friends, that is..." he asked, staring at her.
Jan. 11 at 7:12 pm
Britt bites her lip, biting back a bitter laugh. "I don't have any, because of my parents," she says quietly, looking away so that her pale gold hair hid her face.
Jan. 11 at 8:39 pm
Korio continued to stare at her. "Hmmmm...? We're more alike than I thought we'd be," he said with a smirk and looked at the ground. He stood up and reached into his pocket, wrapping his fingers around the item he was looking for. "Here!" he said, tossing a small red crystal to Brittany.
Jan. 12 at 12:22 am
Brittany frowns slightly, catching the crystal and looking at him questioningly. "Why am I getting this? I mean, I love it, but... Why?"
