"Aren't you the one with the ideas?" Issac teased, laughing a little. He ran a hand through his hair, his eyes darkening."What you said before...you brought up a lot of things I've never thought before. And it scares me." Issac admitted, before pausing to meet her gaze."Can we be in this together, though?"

"Just be careful." Lydia said, reaching up to take the hand that ran through her tangled mess of hair. She stayed silent for a moment, trying to think of an idea. "If...If I'm right, and they are going to fake my death, do you have any idea where they'd take me?"

She didn't answer his question, but Issac figured it was the best he'd get from her.

"Hm. My best guess is deep deep down in the dungeons. But there are plenty of secret passageways."He explained, before Alice rustled in her sleep. Issac frowned, standing up."Oh boy, she sometimes gets nightmares."Issac went over to his little sister, cradling her in his arms. Alice seemed to relax, though occasionally cried out. Issac looked at her with a troubled expression, soothing her with whispers. He didn't even care of Lydia saw; not with Alice so troubled in her slumber.
"Sometimes she sleeps walks."He muttered with a half smile."Crazy. I don't know if you have a younger sibling but when they're scared..."He shook his head."Worst feeling."

"I had a brother. He was two eyars younger than me." Lydia said quietly, before moving on quickly. She didn't like talking about Finn.
"Do you know any of the passages? You might be able to sneak in and get me out, they wouldn't blame you. They'd think that you thought I was dead." The words came out rushed, as if she was using them to get farther away from the subject of siblings.

Issac noticed the sudden change in her words as he brought up the subject of sidings. Maybe her Finn was in trouble...? He decided not to push it.

"Oh, I know plenty. They tours to all the people who work for the king. I could easily get you out."He smiled, before it faltered as Alice sighed in distress. He focused on Lydia, his eyes serious."I hope you're right on them faking your death."

"Me too." Lydia sighed, then looked at Alice. "What about your family? Will they stay, or come with us?"

Issac thought for a moment, rubbing soothing circles on Alice's back. Her nightmares were always the worst. She dreamed in just sounds, since she was born blind, and whenever he could get her to talk to him about them, Issac would just get the basics. Alice just dreamnt of screams. And yells, and cries. Enough to make her tremble in his arms.

"I could never leave Alice."Issac answered quietly."But my brother and father...they are devoted to this Kingdon and King Thale. If I told them what you told me, they'd gladly turn me in."He sounded bitter."And worse, they treat Alice like she's stupid. But she's not. She's so smart..."Issac sighed, brushing her hair away from her face. She was crying now.

((What the freak did it do to my post?! 0.o))

Lydia nodded. "I haven't seen my family in years. They would probably do the same. You should get ready. Where we're going, it takes about five days, give or take, to reach. We'll need supplies." She scowled, feeling useless. "I'm not doing much here, am I?" She joked. Issac would have to pack and break her out. All she was doing was playing guide.

"You're giving me something to fight for."Issac replied, smiling in the candlelight. He held Alice close, nodding."Right of coarse. I think I can handle that. My brother is hardly ever home, and my father is always working."Yes, he could easily start packing. His father always joked on how much he ate anyways. With a jolt, Alice woke up, crying softly. Issac frowned, his eyes pained.

"Hey, hey, I'm here."He soothed, holding her close still. Alice sniffed, rubbing her eyes, and burrowing closer to Issac's chest.
(Yeah, sometimes TI does that -.-)

((I've had it post multiples before, but not at different times. >.<))

Lydia shook her head, "Thale is giving us the fight." She watched the little girl cry and wished there was something she could do to help. "Have you tried tea? Some herbs can help people sleep."

"Does that work for your nightmares?"Alice asked curiously, lifting her head up over to where she thought she heard Lydia's voice. Issac rubbed her back. He had never thought of tea. Usually he just told Alice funny stories to get her back to sleep. His haze flickered over to Lydia; maybe one day she'd understand how he felt about her, but probably not when Issac didn't understand himself.

(Sorry about that. TeenInk can be very temperamental.)

((Yup. Right now it's taking soooo loooong to load. DX It's almost 1 am here, I have to go to bed. Goodnight! ))

"Sometimes." She answered with a smile, "Though, usually I'm so tired I don't dream at all. I'd try valerian, kava, or chamomile."

"Hm, I've never heard of those things before." Alice admitted, crinkling her nose. Lydia was a very interesting person, Alice decided. Even nice enough to offer a remedy for her nightmares. She hesitated, before looking over to where she thought Lydia was.
"Can I feel what you look like?" The girl simply asked, holding up her small hands sheepishly. Issac blinked. Usually it took forever for Alice to ask such things.

"Yes." Lydia answered with a smile, taking her tiny hands and shoing them the way. She could see that Issac was surprised, and wondered how often Alice asked that.

"Careful, she's bruised." Issac reminded gently, and Alice rolled her eyes.
"I know, I heard her get slapped."She replied, and he had to smile at her attitude about the whole thing.
Lydia's hands were a litle cold, but Alice's touch was gentle. Her fingers scanned the scope of her face, taking in the nose, the hollows of her cheekbones. Her hair was wild, but still soft. Alice pulled away, giving Lydia smile.
"You are very pretty."Alice complimented."No wonder Issac likes you!" Issac smirked, a little blush flushing his cheeks.

A laugh escaped Lydia's lips before she realized she'd done it, and her cheeks grew warm along with Issac's. "I hope that's not the only reason." She joked, her eyes meeting his, a bit embarrased.

"Oh, not at all."Issac reassured, and Alice fell back into Issac's chest, once again tired. This was good; Lydia was an excellent distraction from her overactive imagination.
"Can you tell me a story?"Alice whispered to her older brother, yawning. Issac laughed softly.
"Of coarse."
