"Alice are you home?" Her mom yelled, slightly bubbly.
Oh g.od.
"In the kitchen." Alice retorted, letting out a deep sigh.
"This came in the mail for you! It's from your Aunt, she emailed me and said you could wear this to your pre-winter dance" She said, coming into the kitchen with a big white box.
Mason dissapeared and went into Alice's room where he normally hid. He sighed and floated over her bed.
After finishing the one side conversation with her mom, Alice took the box up to her room and tossed it on top of another box before looking to Mason.
"I don't know why she keeps trying to give me unsubtle hints that she wants me to go. I'm not going to a dance." Alice huffed.
Mason floated over to her. "Why not? They're fun."
"I'm not going to be that awkward new girl, standing off the side with no date." Alice stated, matter of factly. She looked away, letting her bangs fall in her face.
Mason smiled. "Idea!" He raised his hand. "Pick me!"
Alice arched a brow, "What's your idea?" She asked, rolling her eyes.
Alice arched a brow, "What's your idea?" She asked, rolling her eyes. Why was she thinking he was cute? She ran her hand through her hair, hiding her thoughts, and keeping them to herself.
Mason smiled. "I could solidify and go with you."
Alice felt her face burn up, "Don't you think they'd recognize you Mason? I mean you use to go to the d.amn school." She muttered, keeping her head away.
((I was thinking that Alice could invite a guy over, and Mason know him..and not likek him, but Alice doesn't know that, to work on something, and he ends up trying to kiss her or something and Mason gets real jealous and uses his ghostly powers))
Mason puts his feet down on the ground and smiled, becoming solid. "Trust me...." (ooh! I like that idea!)
"Telling people I speak and see dead people isn't going to help my social status Mason, but what the he.ll, it's not like it can get that much worse." Alice said, her words oozing with sarcasm. She blushed deeply, turning around to face Mason,
He was solid.
"Woah." Alice uttered, putting her hand softly on Mason's hold cheek. "This is crazy..."
Mason was cold and pale, he almost looked dead. He smiled and suddenly hugged Alice. "Oh, you're so warm..."
Alice jumped slightly, taking in a deep breath before hugging him back. It came as a surprize, Mason hugging her, no that she minded the least bit. A crimson blush rising in her cheeks it was very warm. She wrapped her arms around his neck, her forehead resting on his chest.
He was so cold, yet so warm.
Mason smiled and bathed in her warmth. "Oh this is wonderful. I forgot how it felt to be held..."
Alice grinned, her heart was pounding hard against her chest. She wondered if he could feel it, her warmth seeping into his cold body. "Mason, why haven't you done this before?"
Mason's face got a bit darker i nhis cheeks. "I was embarrased to..."
"Embarrassed? Why?" Alice asked, obviously she was disappointed. She looked up at Mason, a pouting lip appearing.
((So when should the guy get involved))
Mason blushed deeply. "I...never really had experience with...girls."
(after the dance? She gets stuck with im for a project?)
