In trepedation, Adam got onstage. "Hi." He said, feebly waving his hand. "I'm Adam. I...umm...I'm an actor, I guess. Musical theatre, too. And uh, I play piano. Interesting thing...Hmm. I'm gay." Adam turned to Ms. Morrison, smiling shyly. "Does that count?"
((Not sure...I didn't say anything except the character being g.ay. Would they censor that?))
((Umm maybe I'm not sure. Try to repost it. I just try to change any words that may be censored. Or try to post the word on it's own, see if it comes through.))
Adam nervously got onstage. "Hi." He said, waving his hand feebly. "I'm Adam. I'm an actor, I guess. Oh, and musical theatre. Something interesting...I don't know. I'm g.ay." He turned to Ms. Morrison and shrugged. "Does that count?"
((Do you want me to post as the teacher again?))
((Sure, go for it. Thanks.))
((No problem. Oh so is one of the romances going to be g.ay?))
Ms. Morrison nodded. "That's fine. Thank you Adam, for having the courage to go first. You may sit."
Jake was shocked. He never would have guessed Adam was g.ay. Oh well, it's not like it changed anything.
((I don't know, I'm kind of making it up as I go along.))
As Adam got down from the stage, he could feel Jake's eyes on him. He ignored the gaze, and walked swiftly back to his seat.
((Shall I post now?))
((Please do! :)))
Jake smiled at Adam. "You're brave." He commented. He never would have went first, it just wasn't his thing. He always went towards the middle so no one would remember him.
Lizz sent Adam a small smile, sliding down in her seat as if it would prevent the teacher from picking.
"Now, now," Ms Morrison admonished the class. "If people don't start volunteering I'll have to pick on someone."
Adam smiled at Jake, and walked briskly back to his seat. He looked at Jake, and noticed for the first time how attractive the tall boy really was. "No!" He scolded himself silently. "You barely know him. What are you doing? Get a grip, kid." He looked back at Jake, and immediately flushed. "Stop this, Adam! You know relationships never work for you." He slunk into his seat, and tried to focus on Ms. Morrison. "Who's next?" The old teacher asked. "She focused her gaze on Lizz. "How about you, sweetie? Come on up, don't be shy."
((So are we waiting for people now??))
Lizz got up slowly and shuffled to the front of the classroom. She stood for a moment, blushing and wishing she was invisible, to work out what she was going to say. "I'm Lizz," she said quietly. "I act, and write. Although nothing like poetry or whatever. Playscripts only. I'm not really sure there's anything interesting about me. Um, I've killed 37 goldfish if that counts?"
((I guess. It left off with the teacher wanting Lizz, so...Believe?))
((She posted. Thanks Believe!!))
Jake raised his hand. "What the he.ll. I'll go next." He smiled at Lizz and stood on the stage with her. "I'm Jake, I like to write songs and play the guitar, I like theatre, and hmm, something weird...umm...well, I can pop my elbows inside out...is that any good?" He laughed. "I'm not very good at this am I?"
Kate shrugged her shoulders and stood up. She didn't feel the need to raise her hand or say anything, she could tell by the look in the teacher's eyes that she was going to be called next no matter what. Why?
"I'm Kate. I'm here because I write, sing and act. From poems to plays to novels ... pretty much anything." She sighed then continued, "Something interesting about myself ... nothing except ... yeah, nothing." She walked off the stage with her head held slightly high yet looking down. She knew the teacher was about to say something so she threw the old hag a look and the teacher just nodded at her.
Kate looked at Adam and smiled slightly at him, there's a reason she felt akward around him. All her life she's been surrounded by people like him, the only difference, they didn't care and they were all Emo. She took her seat with a heavy sigh following it.
Adam looked back at Kate, wishing the girl would let him help her. He had been in that place, of sadness and despair, a hole you knew you could never crawl out of. And yet, crawl out of it he did. He sidled next to Kate. "Hey," he said. "I think that you are a very interesting person."
